@the-behavior-panel any chance your going to have additional merch? The mug is cool . . . .but there are super fans walking the streets and mugs don't wear well.
Just wanted to slip in here. I absolutely love you guys and what you do and watching you all work together. Quick question. I don't know if any of the four of you believe in being intuitive. And if so do you think that can help or hinder being a body language expert or learner?
These may be the first 4 people in the world that I'd be happy to spend hours watching just hanging around & shooting the breeze. Their personalities & areas of expertise compliment each others' so incredibly well, and they're just flat fascinating --& frequently hilarious. I gotta look to see if they really did make a short of Greg doing the worm on a griddle dance. The short of the other 3 guys' reactions to Scott doing the seductive "Duck Lips" impression is one of the funniest things I've seen.
Ok I have to say that Mark makes THE best analogies every episode. Using his dog, Peach in the example-nudging the ball- is totally the right comparison!!
And when he describes this guy's endless circles of confusion (nested loops) with things that involve multiple locations and multiple people, I had to chuckle. Great visual to describe it. Sort of like untangling Christmas light strands.
I'm a retired teacher. These adult men having the time of their lives having fun with each other-- they remind me of little boys in my classes. What a great channel!!
Wow, I agree, there is likely a trail of bodies or other crimes in every place this guy has lived. Researching him, starting at his childhood, would be a fascinating PHD dissertation for someone.
@The Behaviour Panel I would really like to see you analyse an interview in a foreign language that none of you speak, just to show how universal these behaviours are. Love your work, every video is a masterclass. give peaches a pet from me
I thought about it. It won't be simple surely... But... Putin? Bolsonaro (Brazilian ultra-crazy-extreme-right-President)? North Corea's dictator? Just light people. 😬
I love Mark with how he can observe the body language and vernacular and create concepts and analogies that are hilarious because it's true . I love how chase laughs and starting to see Greg now loosen up and have some fun. Well done behaviour panel.
These Guys are amazing! My wife and I always look forward to these videos every week. Can i just say the personalities of you gentlemen and the format make you feel part of the discussion. And you are not patronizing. Top notch stuff!!!
I love his response to “Wouldn’t you like to have your name cleared?”- he just seems so stunned, like that possibility had never occurred to him. Almost like, “Oh, wait! Can I pick that option? I had no idea it was on the menu!”
@@Fireguy65 at first I thought this was someone trolling, but then I clicked on the profile. This mf’er out here watching body language videos for tips during his trial!
Yes, Mark, you're right: I checked again at 44:51 and there is a quick "flash" of a self-satisfied smile on the right side of his face. Duper's delight for sure, I'd say!
Having lived with a psychopath for many years, I immediately felt like his, "Okay, I've talked a lot" and then a smile, showed that he was pleased with himself. He thinks he just won that one. Psychopaths love to win. It's an intuitive sense I got from my personal experience.
When he's talking about confessing to the Bishop it sounds like he started to say "California" instead of "Colorado." It came out like "Col-forado." Makes me wonder if subconsciously he was thinking about someone that "disappeared" in California but then realized he was talking about the incident in Colorado and needed to make sure he was talking about the right person. Or I could be completely reading too much into it. lol
I listened to it a few times and he definitely messes up pronouncing “Colorado”. It made me wonder why California was popping up in his narrative, even though it doesn’t make a full appearance.
When I started watching your channel, I wasn’t a fan of Mark, but I was so wrong! Mark Bowden is brilliant, clever, and has a wonderful (and fun) way of explaining things. The four of you are amazing! Thank you!
Just a request from a visual learner - It would help if you guys could show quick clips of what you’re talking about as you as covering the different aspects. It would make it a lot easier to understand and follow along.
The Behavior Panel I always loved to watch Columbo! I still refer to my London Fog all weather coat as my “Columbo” coat. I never have slept in it, as he apparently did in his. 😉
I love Mark! Haha! I often wonder what his baseline is, as his expressions and gestures are quite dramatic (similar to me). Now, chase, has so little expression, that I've often wondered if his screen is frozen. Greg has a look that makes me feel as if I am being interrogated myself! 😊 Scott seems empathetic. Love them all.
Agreed! I love watching them both for their unique insights and maybe even more, their interactions. I'm always charmed when they tease each other or make obscure references that crack each other up.
*UPDATE* There was a 22-day trial of Steve Pankey in October/November 2021 that ended in a mistrial. A new 'hearing' on how to proceed is set for May 2022. *UPDATE*
I love so much when Chase smiles and Laughs and I notice he does it so much when Mark speaks and loves his historical ways and I love it so much because he comes off so professional but has a genuine playful side 😂😂😂😂😂❤
The Panel delights in helping Truth break forth this is a most Noble profession they all share. Grave and Humorous , most worthy teachers, of a great endeavor
You guys are amazing! The lightness and irony on these very hard topics and yet the extreme professionalism, the comptence the invaluable skills of each and everyone... I love it! Thank you guys! BTW: @ Mark you're umbelievable: your totally unique, four-dimensional way you see the world is priceless! You always makes me smile and makes me want to see all the world all around me in depth. (I'm an old Colombo fan)... Can we have a chat? 😂😂😂
I don't know who this man is and I don't know anything about the case but the first couple of segments of film left me feeling there was something very off about him. Listening to the panel unpack it all is fascinating. I guess most of us absorb body language subconsciously and intuit when something doesn't feel right. So interesting guys, thank you
I totally agree with you. I think we can all have a gut feeling that someone is being deceptive, or dishonest, or there's just something that doesn't add up. What I love about these videos is the way the panel point out the tell tale signs, things as you say we might pick up subconsciously, but it's really interesting to have them pointed out and explained. Since I started watching this channel, I feel that I'm getting better at spotting some of those signs. For example, when he tried to justify researching the case online, saying it's perfectly legal to do so, that immediately set a trigger off for me.
One of the many things i love about this show are the colorful, creative metaphors! What a funny and yet fascinating program. It's a smorgasbord for the mind and heart!
What I really love is when you unpack the body and vocal analysis from the part of the clip, and then show the pertinent section again. It's how I, as a keen amateur, learn from your observations. Please do more and more!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the interviewer is from the East Idaho News. He's GREAT. He's the one that basically kept the world up to date with the "Cult mom" Vallow/Daybell case w/the 2 kids who were missing for months.
I am glad that Mark brings his classic education to this series. I enjoy understanding the ideas and peoples, and ancient points of scholarly reference that he adds to this series. Thank you all! I am enjoying everything that all of you, the panelist bring to this series!
I agree Mark. We definitely saw Dupers Delight.. that was big . And he definitely had a micro confession with the bishop. You guys are spot on. Thanks for the fun in this one. 🥰
Marks so entertaining really helps me understand his views with me being autistic it’s really good 👍🏻 and easier to get what he’s saying with the dramatic examples they make me giggle 🤣
Love the channel, such interesting content, and I love how you all get along and appreciate each other’s skills and specialities. It would be great to have links to the original full videos, like this interview, to be able to watch the whole thing later and see how much we can spot. Again, great job.
In Essex here 🙋♀️ I was stood in the rain for nearly an hour today, feeling miserable. It definitely cheered me up when I see I had a great video to get home to 😁
Scott Rouse, you do great work promoting all you fellows' books. I like it because it happens at natural times throughtout rather than forced at the start of each video.
These guys actually provide scientific confirmation for the feeling us laymen have in general, each time we listen to a politician : we know something is not right, but we just cannot put our finger on what it exactly is. We should not be afraid of listening to our intuition : when our inner voice tells us something is wrong, something most probably is.
I love this channel and you guys. I know you have already recorded 2 of the Watts case, but I would REALLY love if ya'll would do a breakdown video of the Watts interigation with the CBI, CPD. PLEASE!
I love the four of you ❤ You all have great personalities, along with your intelligence, knowledge, wisdom, and especially your humour. Plus I love your telling smirks and smiles.
Well the rules of RU-vid state: “if you mention a pet, said pet must be shown on camera.” It’s checkov’s bun, so when will peaches show up with the ball coaxing? ☺️
Nate Eaton's interviews are pure gold. He is so under rated as an investigative journalist, and sadly there aren't many of them left. Thankfully Nate takes his job seriously and digs deep. Great job, as usual Nate, and great job to the Behavior Panel as well!!
Someone let him be a Youth Pastor?! As a pastor, I would be all over this guy about his apparent ‘faith’. All of his comments about ‘faith’, fly in the face of genuineness. He is a classic example of someone who worms their way into churches in order to find victims. If he attended my church, he would be under great scrutiny if he tried to get into a significant role. I think I’d give more trust to an alligator in a crèche.
I love listening to you guys! I love the respect you give each other, and your depth of knowledge is so impressive. You all have different strengths that compliment the others. Your show makes me happy!
Fascinating again. Now I need to apply what I learn in real world situations. To my pet dog Pip.. Me.."did you eat all the maple bacon?".... Pip.... "what's that dude?".... me "did you eat the maple bacon?".... Pip..... "No Sir, I was upstairs, then moved to the garden, then I avoided the kitchen on my way to the dining room. I think it was the cat. The cat has ruined my life". Snigger... Me... "Pip, was that dupers delight?"..... Pip..." Yes Sir. You got me. It's a fair cop Guv." Love your videos. All educational and well presented. Prince Andrew interview analysis drew me in.
That was fantastic! I'd love to see more true crime analyses, most especially those that remain unsolved. Great job by all including the interviewer - looking forward to the next!
Steve Pankey is currently in jail in Greeley, Colorado following a trial earlier this year (2022) which ended in a mistrial. Another trial is planned in a couple months. He has inserted himself into this story from the very beginning when Jonelle went missing and has changed his story many times.
