You have explained measures so clearly!! I’m a inches lady! Don’t get on with cm!! Also Ann if you see this I’d love you to explain the measures on cutting cards! I just line up my card with the envelope to get the right size…I know a lot of you will be laughing at me…😂😂 but it will help me. Thank you for all your videos you are so inspiring and clear instructions. Sending big hugs from an old 76 yr old Nana.🥰🥰💕💕🐶🐶❤️👍👍
this has got to be one of the most amazing videos, ever!! I am not new to crafting, but, I learned to much in these last 45 minutes. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
I’ve watched literally thousands of RU-vid videos but yours a the best by far! I love your knowledge and how you calmly and brilliantly narrate! Thank you!
Love the metal Dies with the glossy words then the foam underneath Faux glossy Accents Really beautiful Anne 👏👏👏👏🤗🤗🤗🤗🌹🌹🌹🌹 wow thank you so much for sharing xxx
I’ve been crafting all of my long life and there is very little I haven’t done, so I almost didn’t watch this video. But am I glad I did. I still learned many things that I was amazed that I didn’t know. Thank you so much for sharing.
This taught me so much, I can't buy the Woodward rotary cutter because they don't ship to New Zealand. I really do appreciate your videos as you make everything clear, and I've learned so many new tips. And your accent is enchanting.
You are a gifted, born teacher!!! I am not a crafter but love learning everything... because, who knows what tomorrow may bring ?!? Something prob mostly all know, but here's a tip I learned in fashion school. Never ever use scissors used for fabric on paper, and conversely, never use paper scissors on fabric. Keep your 2 collections separate ... label them all. Paper dulls scissors quite rapidly and, over time, will not give you accurate cutting on fabric. Thanks very much, Ann!
Gday Ann, Kathy from Sydney Australia. I just love all your tips and tricks, even your oopsies. So much you have taught everyone. Great videos and instructions. We are experiencing massive floods at present so an stuck inside, great time for crafting.
Ann you are simply the best would love to see more of the box videos you totally inspire me I think you are the best practical crafter out there and not doing a sales pitch at every opportunity is another bonus using what we have and making the most of it thankyou thankyou thankyou xx
Thank you so much!! Yes i hate those videos, its like ' make this but then you need to buy this die and stamp' I try to make is doable for all people xxx
Wow, Ann! I wish I’d watched this ages ago! I’ve wasted so much time and money! So many videos are American, and its not always possible to get the materials or equipment at a reasonable cost. Thank you!
THANK YOU!! You have shown all the things I wish I had known plus some I never would have figured out. And the translucent napkin….never even dreamed it could go nearly clear. Brilliant! Thank you and Fiona!
I just learned this about two years ago. I kept editing looking at videos and I got a better ruler to read and study it. I don't know how I did all my quilting and sewing back when I was younger cuz I had no idea how to understand measurements back then. But I never gave up. I wish someone like had explain it the way you did.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have also learnt that I’m not the only one who prefers the Imperial measurements! The number of times I’ve ordered the wrong sizes , is no body’s business 😂😂 x
Because of you i bought the chrome precision plate and i don't regret it! I really love it! And i love the fact that it replaces one plate,so they last longer or you don't have to go thrue the machine multiple times
I agree 2,000% about paper trimmers... It drives me crazy not to have a sharp clean STRAIGHT cut! I have a couple of different trimmers for different purposes but I always go back to my rotary or my guillotine because I know those are going to give me great cuts every time. I hate the ragged, scraggly edges just like you, I'll get a nail file and smooth them down if it's the only choice I have 😅. You can put hours into making an amazing card but if the cut isn't good you might as well just toss it all in the bin. I'm also an art glitter glue girl and I don't think you will ever get it away from me. I literally have it marked on my calendar when the last fall shipping days are so that I don't run out during the winter (they don't ship here when it's cold unfortunately). It grabs quick, it dries flat and clear, it's worth every penny.
Hi Ann 11 things im so glad I found out before I start crafting. Everyone is a bonus, Cant read a ruler, guillotine or trimmer. I certaintly didnt know which inks to use with what, oh the list goes on n on. Makes sence with the nesting dies but i would of never thought of it. Absolutely luv the napkin idea. You are a diamond luv, I maybes dont feel so overwhelmed now n atleast have a great idea now. An fantastic video very imformative.Thank you as always luv from Newcastle x
Oh wow Ann, your ability to teach and explain is amazing. You are definitely the best at creating and I know i sound like a broken record repeating but you need to hear the praise because you are so humble. Love, love your channel. Take care sweet lady.
Thank you so much Ann, that is a well of superb information. I always struggle with the myriad of ink pads out there, and always wonder what on earth they are all for?!!! Every single thing you've explained has helped immensely. I am quite new to crafting, and because I've been unable to work since 2015, I have very limited funds. I live in a tiny 1 bedroom council flat too, so my lounge has to double up as my art room!! You've been a tremendous help, so thank you very much. I love your tutorials as you have brilliant ideas. Thanks again. Take care, Val xx
If you're tight on space, and budget, a Black Tuxedo Memento and Black Staz On ink pad will get you through. Depending on the cost, a blank empty ink pad re-inked with glycerin can double as a Versamark Ink Pad. For gift wish lists for the people in your life wondering what to get you: Ranger Ink sells a collection of 12 mini Archival Inks that match Distress Ink colours. They are on Canadian Amazon, don't know about UK Amazon. It's a perfect rainbow of any colour you would need plus two browns for antiquing, a darker, cool grey and black. The archival for waterproof stamping for water colouring or alcohol ink markers. The distress ink for the actual watercolouring. Just tap the Distress Ink pad [not Oxide, original Distress Ink] on a silicon or laminated surface, add a small spritz of water and voila! watercolour paint.
These were great tips! Thank you! I have literally lost HOURS of my life making bows. No more! Also loved the glossy sentiments mounted on foam and the box-making tutorial, and I can't wait to try laminating napkins!
Oh gosh, thanks so much for sharing these tried and true ideas. I love the ink embossing with versa mark/ink! And top it off with the foam cuts!! Great ideas. ❤️👏🏻❤️👏🏻. Wait, the star box~~~you did it so easy,! I love your brain!! If I would have tried making the star box, it would have looked like some type of octopus!! But after watching you create it, I can make one too!! You are incredibly talented and I’m grateful you share with us all. ❤️❤️
I've just found you and have been binge watching your videos! Thank you for all of the how-tos and tips you so generously provide for us! There are so many things that I've learned already which will decidedly take my paper crafting to the next level. Awesomeness, Ann! Now, back to🥰😁 binging
As a former teacher, I really appreciate seeing you address measurements! It's not something that is even taught much in a lot of places, and that's a disservice to students. It's important and useful!
That's shocking to me. As I was watching her explain fractions, I became very confused ...how do people not understand what 1/8 of an inch is? I repeat...I'm shocked.😳
@@jaytee2642 thing to keep in mind not every country uses imperial measurements but metric so they are more familiar with millimetres & centimetres , & not everyone is mathematically minded so fractions are confusing to them
OMG!! What a GREAT video. Learned alot. You answered my one big question I was wondering about. Different kinds of ink pads.Loved how you had all there and showing them when talking about it. Kinda new to stamping.that has helped me. I saved this to rewatch, and put info in my notebook for future references. Thank you much for sharing. Learned alot.. thinking about a laminator too. Getting closer to getting one. Might need to see a few more things that you can do with it first. Getting there.. lol Thanks again...
