You are AMAZING - I was watching this in the wee hours and wanted to make sure I commented (I rarely comment). Blessings to those with these wonderful ideas that they share with others. I'm a newbie to all this and feel like I struck gold with this video. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU :D
What an amazing tutorial. How lovely to watch a video without actually having to watch the presenter. You have made it all about your amazing teaching and not yourself. Loved it. Your voice perfectly matches your crafting, really relaxing.
For Heavens sake woman, 😂will you stop with all these fantastic ideas😂 I am not going to be doing any housework or cooking cos I’m going to be doing all these wonderful things you inspire me to do! Making your own folder is genius, I am now going to be able to get so much more use out of my dies, and you don’t even need to use dies do you. Maybe use some just fussy cut designs too. You really are awesome! Thank you & stay safe x
What I love about this video, is that you aren’t promoting any brands and just using whatever you have in your craft stash. I have similar embossing folders and random stamps from magazines, so this video has really helped me to think about how I can use what I already have, without feeling like I have to go out and buy specific stamps, inks and folders. Thank you so much. x. Best inspiration for old stuff I've watched for years. 😊👍🏼👏🏼💕
These tips are fantastic! I've never seen anyone make their own embossing folder. You can make your own set of stencils, stamps and embossing folders from one die. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. I learned a lot of new tips.
Hi. Thank you so very much for sharing this tutorial. I think I can honestly say that this has to be the complete compendium of dry embossing and I've not found anything as in-depth as this. Absolutely outstanding! It must have taken so much time, effort and work to put together. Thanks again.
I feel like I just had a college course in embossing folders! Amazing Ann! The painted ones and the heart die cuts were stunning! So many amazing techniques! Thanks so very much for all these wonderful ideas!! Fantastic video!🤗
I live in Israel and work in a kindergarten with children. and looking for creative work every time new interesting ideas. to light them up point Because they love new techniques. I watched your video and was blown away. I immediately had pictures of what next work I will do with them. You are just an inspiration. God bless you with such great ideas. I picked up a new fire from you and I will carry it to the children. since we are all connected, I want to tell you that your heart and your creativity will touch the hearts of Israeli children. God bless you. I subscribed to you. what you do is priceless. I thank God for creating you and giving you such great ideas.
Ann, I have so many embossing folders that I have never used, just got on the 3D trend also, this tutorial is amazing and so helpful. Thank you for all the time it took to make the video. You rock!
I agree with everyone. This was magnificent! I would like to share a tip. It isn’t mine but it is a good one. Use Glad brand Press ‘n Seal plastic wrap to keep everything in place. You arrange everything where you want it on the page, put the Press ‘n Seal over the top & rub. The Press ‘n Seal has thousands of tiny bubbles of sticky that leaves no sticky residue behind & doesn’t harm even delicate paper(I’m not sure about tissue, crepe or napkin paper). You then turn the Press ‘n Seal over, apply your adhesive, turn back over & place onto your paper. The Press ‘n Seal is clear so you can place it back exactly where you wanted it. You will never go back once you use this technique! I love it!!!
I’m new to ALL of this so I’m not sure what you’re putting the Press and Seal on? Is it a scrapbook page. And when you put the P&S on “the page”, what do you mean by turning it over, put on adhesive, turn back over and place it exactly where you had it?
@@maryannlewellyn lay out your project pieces the way you want them onto your card, place the press and seal on the pieces holding them exactly where you placed them, put on your choice of adhesive, turn the whole thing over placing it where you wanted it as one piece then carefully remove the press and seal.
That was the most excellent informative video I have ever watched !!!! Well done!!! I will share! Thank you for these beautiful, creative, and excellent ways to use my embossing folders! I will subscribe !
Also, with #8, you can sharpen your dies by cutting aluminum foil followed by wax or parchment paper. Give it a try with a die that hasn’t been cutting well. :-)
What great ideas! Love the napkin idea especially since I have so many napkins! But love all the ideas. Thank you for always sharing, can't wait to try all of them.
I Just discovered this today. You are AWESOME. Your ideas are New & Fresh- I esp like the tip with tags- I have @50 emboss folders & adding more! This will help me to organize & FIND my folders when I need them & i love to use them with Cosmic Shimmer polishes. TY for a great showcase. God Bless you!
Ann, I just tried the oxide technique with broken china on the debossed side, it took me 4 tries with an Altnew 3 D botanical folder, I am so silly, I rubbed the ink pad on the EMBOSSED side, it kept turning out funny until I went back and watched it again. There has to be a better way to get the distress spray on the embossed side. Any ideas yet. I absolutely learned so much from you in this video. After spending way to much money on craft supplies this year, I’m on a spending freeze for 6 months. Shopping my stash is great because of you. You are the absolute best teacher , artist on U tube. Big Hugs! ,
I was really impressed with your clever embossing methods. As a former teacher I found your clear and instructive approach a real breath of fresh air. I will definitely be checking in again, looking forward to what I know is going to be entertaining as well as instructive. Thank you very much!
Ann this video was suggested me to today to watch. I am so glad! This was absolutely amazing. I was able to learn a few new ideas. Your napkin techniques was mind blowing!!
You never cease to amaze me Ann. Totally fabulous techniques. I have so many folders and embossed samples and now I have so much more ideas as to what to do with them. Blessed love always Ann😍😚⚘
Wow Ann! Thank You so much for taking the time to do this video, it is excellent! Every technique is amazing & opens a new door to our embossing folders. This is truly one of the best videos I've watched. I am a newbie to your website and have subscribed and make sure I give you thumbs up, you certainly deserve it! Please keep these type of technique videos coming Ann, I will be watching them all!
Really great video! And with #5 you could use those as tags for gifts. I'd probably put a plain tag with their name behind, but the embossed one would be so lovely to see.
What an amazing group of techniques . . . my embossing folders, inks and die cuts are going to meet each other, quite quickly! Thank you for sharing such a detailed video. I think my favorites are the napkin & die-cut hearts layers, beautiful!
Brilliant video Ann. I love embossing and even though I've been doing it a while, learned some new techniques from your video. You're a really talented crafter.

Wow!! This is the first time I've come across your channel. I'm now a new subscriber. I've been wanting to get an embossing machine. This looks pretty easy, and amazing. Thank you for sharing and not taking for granted that everyone understands. I'm still new to all of this. Thank you again!! 💞
Just a thought for tip 18. If you run the cardstock after removing the cut out pieces back through the embossing folder it will smooth out the hole edges nicely.
With example #4, you can easily ink only the raised areas of your embossing folder by using a rubber brayer with your ink pad instead of ink pad directly to the raised parts. 😃
I started this years ago then gave it all away to my daughter then started watch you tubes again WOW I was amazed my daughter gave it all back to me !! And your videos are AMAZING!! Thank you for being so detailed and clear in what you do !!
I GOTTA go get me this machine and things, lmao. Listen, what makes YOUR vids SO enjoyable is that YOU DO THE CRAFT , quickly, fast fwd thru the mind numbing tedious parts nd basically, YOU GET TO THE POINT on everything you show . LUV that! People are all busy and have lives ..... and TOO MANY PEOPLE MAKE VIDS THAT I CLICK RIGHT OFF AFTER 3 MIN AND I'VE NOT SEEN A DAMN THING AND ALL I'VE GEARD IS TO VLICK, SUBSCRIBE, MATERIALS , WHERE TO BUY, BALH BLAH BLAH .... ARGGGG. NOT YOURS! YOURS ARE FANTASTIC! SO THANK YOU! Plus ? I luv ur accent, lol Altho I'm a "recovering" Catholic, lol, I DID goto Catholic school K-12 & your voice is exactly as was my Dearest Sister Mary Grace - the ONLY nun out of 25 or so that was NOT just a miserable BEATCH & rather, was truly a saint on earth (God Bless her Soul). I could listen to you for hours irs so soothing [to me]

Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!! This was VERY educational. So many techniques!! I subscribed a long time ago, but never saw any of your videos pop up for me to watch... UNTIL... I looked in my list.... and there you were!! Hello, again!! I'll be catching up on all the videos I missed!! I appreciate you sharing your knowledge!! ❤ xx
Hi Ann, Sharon from Montréal QC" Canada , thank you SO MUCH , because YOU ARE INSPIRING . Have Just started making cards and boy what great information you have so generously shared . So thanks once again .
HI THERE. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE !! the EF at 2.02. But I can't find it listed. Is this because it is an older one? I've checked out those you list below but unless my eyes deceive me, it is not there :-). I am looking at the Sissix site too but sometimes their 'views' of an item (or even magnifying it is not sufficient) are not big enough to quickly determine the folder that I want. Love your work and your voice is very melodious :-) :-).
Another Brilliant!! Tutorial Ann :) Love these different uses :) I have a Question though, regarding #7 .... If you don't have 'the Embossing set from Sizzix' (the white board and grey plastic mat) is there something else others recommend in using for this same technique ? ... Like what can you use to get the same effect...? As buying things 'outright' for a beginner, here in Australia, could so send you broke 😢 Thank You in advance ❤
Thank you so much for this video! You are so smart and creative!! So many great ideas and well explained. I’m subscribing to your channel right now!! Your voice and teaching is brilliant!! WONDERFUL!
