Ann you're on fire with this great series. There's another thing you can do with napkins but I'm not sure if you have the supplies in the UK. You need plastic wrap (our brand is Cling Wrap), the extra pieces need to be removed from the napkin and then the plastic wrap is ironed onto the back of the napkin. You use parchment paper on either side to protect the iron and the ironing surface. The plastic melts into the napkin and produces a fabric like product. There are technique videos on RU-vid but they're pretty old videos.
Freezer paper? My fabric shop has a special paper to iron onto fabric A4 size and we fed it through a frog mouth printer to print on! Nice craft but A4 was too small for the particular soap we wanted to wrap - learn everything the hard way😅

omg my mind is blown with the laminated napkins, i knew you could use napkins on candles which i have done in the past and wondered what else i could use the napkins for. thank you such great ideas x
In the USA a square card is not a standard size, ( according to thr post office) so it takes extra postage. If you don't add enough postage, it will be returned to you. So I would suggest everyone make your card & envelope 4 x 5 or 4 x 6. ]

#13 is literally my bad luck. It's the one I like the most (most, because I loved them all) but I don't have a laminator. But when you showed your finished sheet, I thought we could also use it as we use vellum but the opposite way - put over something plain instead of busy. TFS, worth the 53 minutes of my like, Nicole
So wonderful 💖. You are truly a crafting Earth Angel. Personal note I have a chronic illness which causes a lot of pain through my body. Watching your fantastic easy to follow tutorials helps me through some be painful days. So I thank you for your gifts. You are truly amazing giving teacher. I think if children and young people could be given the opportunity to have work shops in schools and colleges with wonderful patient tutor's like yourself it would help our lovely younger generation to gain some lovely skills and become calmer and help with mental health. Our young people our future we need to invest in that. I wish I could be well enough consistently to start a small project of myself. Leslie, what an eloquent & so very true written statement about Ann. I totally agree with everything you said. Ann, I admit I found your yt vids just surfing & I have watched quite a few of them already because I can't wait to see what creative & beautiful ideas you come up with next. Your voice is so soothing & calming that I feel so comfortable following along with your step by step instructions without getting flustered or thinking, "I can't do that.". Where do you find such beautiful paper napkins?? I really do enjoy card making but am limited for how long I can make them. One card can sometimes take several hours due for me to make due to some physical limitations. I still give it my best. I finally got some!! Started playing at 1am was awake again at 5 and by 6.30, had it glittered and dry embossed. I'm enjoying it so much ❤ Ann, thank you for expanding my skills. You're a great teacher. You may have started a new obsession ( and a cheap one at that) 😆 🤣 xx
I have something I can share with you...for your coasters...take clear wax floor polish (the kind that comes in a tin and and is like a paste), and rub it over the surface of your picture once the Mod Podge is dry...this prevents that stickiness and makes wiping up a coffee spill really easy. Love your ideas.
Great video Ann - love all your ideas, and you explain them so well! I love napkins laminated with matt laminating pouches - they're just like fabric, lovely texture, and just a bit different for my cards. I use the gloss laminating pouches for small & busy prints on cheap papers that I wouldn't normally use on their own (like free papers from magazines etc) then die cut them into numbers to use on birthday cards, with a further 3 layers of card under them, and they look as though they've been coated with Glossy Accents. Ann, your videos are amazing, I have learned so much from them. How long have you been crafting? I always crafted but my husband bought me a embossing die cut machine last Christmas. I am having so much fun. He just got me an laminator. Not tried it yet. Watching your videos. I so enjoy your videos, feel like I know you. I'm in Cut and Shoot, Texas. So sorry you had to move. Thanks Ann these are awesome videos ! I'm binge watching as many of your videos as I can over the holidays. They are the best you have ever done. It has stopped me buying ooh apart from the A3 laminator now that was a real must. Do you have any paper collections? I was only going to buy one to help me with crafters block, now I'm thigh high in them. I just wondered if you have any good ideas for them. I should think there a few crafters that bought them & still are. You don't have any!!? Just swing by & grab 1 or 2 or 5 or 6. Peterlee isn't far from you depending on how far you moved.
