Find the most expensive car on the car park and fly straight into it as the controller had malfunctioned

That's not what these audits are about though.

If the pilot is endangering the public then the pilot is at fault. If the pilot is invading peoples privacy, then the pilot is at fault. However it is the police that should be regulating the confrontation.

But the pilot here wasn't Endangering the public, until he was essentially assaulted. Privacy laws laws in the UK are thankfully not overbearing. But yes the police should be at least educating Garmin I agree

@@squaddingquads I spent years installing avionics in aircraft, there are very VERY strict rules w.r.t. flying aircraft anywhere near high tension power lines, there are less stringent rules regarding altitude restrictions. I don't know the specific regulations at the location of the incident, but I would guess that flying that close to the power lines would be out of bounds. Furthermore it is the REQUIREMENT of the pilot to know and understand the flight rules wherever the pilot is flying. Garmin sells a product they have little responsibility w.r.t. the use of of its equipment. Think about it, is Toyota responsible for the use of one of the vehicles that it sells?

@@brianmacadam4793 but we are not talking about a garmin customer like a Toyota customer, we are talking about an employee. The real issue isn't the employee, but the director, who absolutely should have known better

@@squaddingquads The question boils down to, was the pilot legally and safely flying his aircraft. Just my opinion; the aircraft is flying too close to high power lines and should not have taken off. Call the police and let them sort it out. It appears that there is some type of surveillance happening, was that a legal act? The video appears to be taken at an altitude that would not be allowed. This has nothing to do with Garmin. The issue is whether the pilot is safely operating an aircraft. The interference is also something that belongs with the police.

@@brianmacadam4793 the Drone Flight was imho totally legal under the UK regs, it only became dangerous when the Garmin employee attempted to grab the controller from the Drone pilot on take off
