Not only did a Mazda6 gt deisel racer actually exist, it competed in many a class. It even participated in the Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2013 under the GX category, but all three entries failed to finish the race. Humorously, in that same race, a Mazda RX-8 entered into the GT category under an American team driven entirely by Mexicans, finishing the race in 27th. Talk about reliability 🙃
Hey Tidge this kind of did exist ...the Gr 3 is based on the IMSA Mazda 6 race car that ran in the Grand Am sports car series in 2013 and 2014...which was also diesel powered
I feel like a broken record but if they aren't bothering to make all cars balanced which is the point of BOP then there's no point and they clearly are not all balanced in performance, bin off at least 10 cars, this makes the BOP tighter and less work for PD who can't be bothered anyway, imo ofc. 😃 If you use Route X for top speed, the first straight going downhill will obviously show the top speed but it's not entirely accurate because sometimes it'll be 1mph out, so may have to do a whole lap 😂 that's at least a 5 minute nap 😂
Controversial opinion for the folks that love the older cars but hear me out: If PD so badly are trying to get people to use only the latest GR.3 cars, then they should just not make the older cars available as a choice. Frankly, they've made the majority of old ones useless and uncompetitive by not balancing them equally so what even is the point of having them as a choice if folks can't compete with them. And if someone wants to suggest how this would be an unpopular decision, explain to me how screwing people over that choose these over the current cars is any better or LESS of an unpopular decision? If you don't straight up want me to use that Atenza over the RX Vision GT3, then don't have it there for me to choose. If you don't want me to use the Unhomologated RC F GT3 Prototype over the fully homologated RC F GT3, then don't have it as an option. Either decision will be unpopular regardless so might as well just be honest with it and just go with the option that doesn't put false hope in people's minds, there is nowhere near enough people who play online to even have this as a legitimate concern.
It was my goto gr3 in gts. Not that it was fast, but I was fast in it. I trusted it and drove better for that. So… that’s changed? Dang. There goes my beautiful cloudscape livery…
If you were to drive a 24 Hour Race at LeMans in GT7 (Gr.3/BoP) Which one would you choose? I‘m struggling because I really dont know which one has the best balance between speed, fuel and tire wear? Would really like to hear your opinion/your Choice :) Thanks in Advance
