I love Chris Maurice. He's a master of ambers so I'm eager to see his take on rose, especially if it has a balsamic side. Will definitely be adding this to the "must try" list.
In my opinion Xerjoff Laylati is the same as Wardasina without the rose. For me it's Xerjoff trying to have some of Nasomatto Black Afgano vibes. Wardasina in addition to cedar, rose, green notes and saffron, I smell guaiac wood, copaiba, sandalwood and a little amber.
Xerjoff is known to be inspired once or twice. I would not put it past them to have a few that smell like a top seller. On that note, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts.
Simple way to describe this fragrance is Rosy Black Afghano or Rosy Boccanera … has that gaultiery musk and a lot of rose . The rose Chris Maurice likes to use.
All the Xerjoff Bottles I have No leakage and work's amazing.. at least the new ones You make me wanna make my full review on this fragrance because I really like it and I have it for years
Thanks for the review on this xerjoff i knew nothing about it. One xerjoff im enjoying currently is torino22 not talk about greatly but man that stuff after 45 minutes smells very pleasant sexy eucalyptus settles down and blends with matte tea note. 🍵 it climbed ranks on my collection as a spring option. Very unisex in baccarat 540 realm but does not have anything that reminds you of it. I do not know if i make any sense 😅. They do not smell like each other at all.
Liking the idea of this. My favourite rose fragrance is currently Issey Miyake Or Encens, a dark masculine mysterious incense/rose. Do you know any other fragrances in this category? I love the combination of rose and dark mysterious notes.
