@Mortal Silence bitch who you lying to - look at your playlists you're literally trying to fucking lose thigh fat and you have higher "standarts"? now that's a FeelsWeirdMan. EDIT: the way you wrote your first comment also indicates that your self-esteem is literally 0 since you had to mention you're a woman. Bet it's because of your looks you actually had to specify what gender you are.

@@depralexcrimson You're being a complete asshole for no reason at all. Also your points are flawed for two reasons: 1- If someone is trying to lose tigh fat that doesn't mean they can't have high standards, you are very stupid If you think only people with perfect bodies are allowed to have that. 2- The reason she said she is a woman It's because when someone says a man doesn't look that good (when most people are saying he does) people assume that who commented was a man who just can't admit It because of envy. Also the fact you checked her profile to see what videos she watches It is a little pathetic.

I'm personally not a fan of Apple, but I don't see how them specifically being a multinational in business software would affect what systems they use. In the end, it's all down to personal preference. Windows does have the disadvantage software-wise, but you can get any Windows computer and install Linux on it to turn it into a perfectly viable workstation.

If you are in a good environment, with good colleagues, and the company allows you to do sport at 12 I think is great. Besides you're working for SAP, the most important ERP in the world. I think you're lucky. However, if you want to form a family, I hope that they also allow you to have a more flexible working hours. If so, then it's perfect. Congrats!

@theScapeX

Basic Design It's true that many preppy/frat like people are going into computers far more than what it used to be, but I find that these people only go into it for work and not necessarily because they're obsessed with it. It seems that the elite programmers of today like Vitalik Buterin are still socially deficient/autistic.

I'm studying computer science and I can tell you for sure that the coding-related parts don't feel like studying to me since if I don't have to code for school (like during the vacations, right now) I use that time to code for personal projects (and mostly for fun) anyways.

He's just doing his ~8hrs though. He's in the office at 9, then at 12 he works out and eats at 13:10. There's a gap but let's say he goes back to work at 13:30 and works until 19:45. That's about 8 hrs and 45 mins of actual work of which a large portion is probably not so productive meetings. He might even have flexible hours (where he chooses the time to start), from what I see, he's in a fairly flexible company and this is how he chooses to work. This is much better than just working 9 to 5. He seems to enjoy taking his time in the morning and fits in a workout, I'm sure he can also just take a 30min break and leave earlier if he wanted to, at least when he's not scheduled for meetings.

i didnt know that some people responded my comments tho :) Well we had some changes on my schedule My current schedule is : 5:00-5:30 am - daily care 5:30-6:00 am - studying Russian (for fun) 6:00-7:30 am - Running (5-10km in general) 7:30-8:00 am - shower and some other daily care 8:00-9:00 am - breakfast then drinking coffe with family in the balcony ( really important one :D ) 9:00-11:00 am - lectures in general 11:00-1:00 pm - after chilling on youtube for 30 mins, trying to get ready for other lectures or if nothing to do, review what i learned. 1:00-2:00 pm - lunch and youtube or netflix 2:00-5:00 pm - if there is no any lecture trying to learn some programming stuff 5:00-7:00 pm - review what i learned today 7:00-8:00 pm - i call this part "free studying" generally spending that one on homeworks which are still not done. 8:00-9:00 pm - talking with a friend, and dinner (my dinners are fast and not so heavy) 9:00-10:00 pm - reading in general. Guys i also wanna add that, this schedule may not make me really successful student or programmer in short term, of course im having so many difficulties because i didnt study so much before but we dont have to put everything in one semester, or the time period which normall students are having to finish their studies... Making education period longer is not that bad if you can work in summers(we have free education in my country). I guess ill also have one more additional semester in my university education because i didnt study much when i was in my Erasmus exchange student semester. And only because that semester, i cannot catch the topics which my instructors are teaching currently. Okay here is the situation, if i can have that schedule in long term, i ll be good at programming and my lectures anyway but it ll take more time because i wont be able to cath to topics but i ll have more dicipline and motivation and HEALTH. I think that is the important point for me, i tried so many different methods and everytime i faced with so much pressure and stress. I slept like 5 hours per day regurarly and studying so hard for a while. Yes i got used to it but i always had so much stress and ended up with stupid perfectionism which even makes me ignore what i success and i started to blame myself. Okay i actually cannot express my feeling about it in one text but anyway, i want to end with summary. Nothing is more important than your health. Dicipline and long term schedules with a bit of editing, ll gives birth to sucess. Dicipline=Freedom, Freedom is not only about u r in jail or not, physical freedom, financial freedom, please go watch some videos about it or read if you can(reading is more recommended). I ll also try to start journaling my experiences about it. Why? Just wanna have some value and idk, youtube and books helped me a lot to change my life, i wish i could help somebody tho. So anyway, thx if you still read. Contact with me if you have any questions; Linkledn: Mert Furkan Sezgin

Thank you for the great video. It gave a lot of useful insight into what working at SAP is like. I also enjoyed the video style and editing. To me SAP seems to be a great place to work at. As I'm currently a student at the Technical University of Munich I will definitly consider SAP as a future employer. Which office in France do you work at? Greetings from Germany

thanks for your comment! yes SAP is definitely a great place to work. the hq is at walldorf but i heard the office in berlin is quite good too (smaller). i work for the office in paris since 3 years. i subscribed to your channel as i see you are a maker and i love it too.see you and have a nice day

My typical working day in wdf is like a prison compared to what you show in your (french) location. Also the lunch menu in wdf is not that great, there are not many options.

I’m also a software engineer at a luxury car company and it’s pretty much the same life, however I use Thinkpad (cuz there the best) and boot Linux on it occasionally, I don’t work in a skyscraper more like very long building with about 3 floors. And my god if you get 2 hour breaks or even more than an hour break I hate you because I could do those workout breaks because we have the facilities but ain’t nobody got time for that, I only get 30min lunches (granted I do finish early on Friday because I do more hours mon-thurs but still wtf). Also your meeting rooms are pretty dope but I bet you majority of the time you’re in Skype meetings 😉.

Isnt this a bit tiring to you? :) Working from 09:00 to 19:00 and kind of getting home at 23:00-23:30 good be exhausting in many other jobs. I know coding is kind of relaxing but still, you put a lot of "brains" in this work ,right ? :D So how do u feel at the end of the day and how do you feel after one week/month of working like this? :d p.s : i am asking because I will soon start my first job as a front end developer and I am curious

Mirza Sergiu definitely not a typical day. Most software engineers typically have an 8 hour day max or less, excluding lunch. He was doing meetings though, which was why he probably stayed late. This is from a California perspective, but friends in Spain and Germany say the same so I’d assume France isn’t different. Your question about exhaustion is very typical though. A lot of people want to advance quickly but they burn out within 2 years or so. So look for natural growth, stay within your limits, and welcome to probably the best workplace out in the job market today.
@Serj772

Thanks Emannuel for your reply, I agree with you on all the points you mention. yes France isn't different than Germany, Spain and Silicon Valley (I suppose). it was an exception this day to stay till 7:30 because a meeting was extended with a customer. good luck Sergiu for your new job, all the best.

It's not that companies want to seem cool (although they probably do), but his working hours in this video were really long. If it didn't seem like a cool, relaxing environment with perks, no one would want to do it. So they have to give it perks to seem appealing - just like how Google gives lots of benefits to their employees for free; they get the best out of employees as they can be in the office longer and be more productive.
@Alex4n3r
@Alex4n3r 6 лет назад
An SAP freelancer can make up to 10 Grand a month. When a company doesn't want to pay fairly and/or there are lots of (unpaid) overhours it refers to all low cost perks ;)

@XYXZProductions
@XYXZProductions 6 лет назад
Imran Chaudhry they aren’t leaning towards a liberal bias, it’s just the fact that statistically more liberals have college degrees so a company gives good benefits in return for their employees knowledge.
