Thank you for being a person who has actually demonstrated the correct way to use that style of zipper foot. That same foot is included with Brother and BabyLock machines. It is a very well designed foot that rides over the zipper teeth allowing the edge of the foot to be placed along the basted seam so that the stitching line is exactly ¼” from center back on either side of the seam. Beautiful execution of the zipper.

Pour couturière experte. L’adhésif pour maintenir la fermeture à glissière est une bonne idée. Comme la vidéo est accélérée, attention avec le découd-vite ! Il faut y aller doucement sinon gare aux dégâts.

This is a good suggestion for that type of zipper. But I use invisible zippers almost always now.
