She didnt speak but started looking for things on her phone and kindly showed me how to get there. I managed to get back safe because of her. All this to say, the Korean people I met were so helpful and kind, even if they are not comfortable speaking they find ways to help. So 감사합니다 Busan girl, I still remember that kindness.

This reminds me of the time I was in Seoul, Korea. I was inside the subway station but I wasn't sure how to get to a certain location. There was no one around me, except for a girl standing for a train that's going in the opposite direction. I gently tapped her on the shoulder, and I smiled "excuse me". She turned around and looked at me with a surprise and then smiled. I asked her for direction in English and she spoke almost fluent English. She spoke very softly and explained to me. I then smiled at her , thanked her. Our trains arrived, we waved goodbye to each other and she smiled back at me one last time before going on her train.
