One thing I will say regarding school shoes for Will is to consider whether he's walking or getting a lift/ public transport to school. I remember you bought Dylan Clark's ones but my mum, who is a community careworker, has shoes that look similar to those for work and has found that ones that have cleated soles akin to Dr Martens and look like they'd be good in ice, snow etc are not actually that grippy (last year she actually fell when emptying a client's bin and broke her glasses and nearly gave herself a concussion. I dragged her to the Dr Martens store after that and she got herself a pair of their fux fur lined 2976 Chelsea boots for wearing on those nights since a lot of her clients don't have well lit driveways or back gardens or have steps at their front or back doors, they have proven much better, even if she's technically not allowed to wear them) so if he's going to be walking regardless of weather it might be worth using the 'find' tool to see if any reviews mention what the shoes you're looking at are like in ice or snow if the school are going to be fussy about wearing wellies or trainers in on those days. My friend has boys a year older and 2 years older than Will and they both have leather trainer type shoes that would be good in ice, but my old school would have sent kids home for wearing those kinds of shoes so you'd know best in that regard. Whilst Will might get away with keeping his PE kit in his bag for now, maybe look into a separate smaller bag for PE if he finds it too tricky to fit everything, especially if he's allowed to wear joggers/ hoodie for outdoor PE in the winter. It might be handy to even set aside his old school bag for school swimming lessons too since then his wet towels etc won't be in with his books and nothing will smell like chlorine, plus it would mean he could keep it packed and ready as opposed to scrambling for it the night before and turfing out his PE stuff to get lost. He could get away with less than the girls could since he won't need hair towels etc. Also consider adding a deodorant with his PE stuff (stick or roll on) since I remember being in a classroom after 30 kids who've had PE that day was not plesant, but a 'lynx bomb' of 30 different body sprays being used in leiu of a shower was always much worse.

My son got a nice black school coat from Morrisons nutmeg and it held up really well he is gonna be using it again for the 2nd year this year as it’s still fits and in perfect condition it’s like a Parker coat and it was less than £25 and I seen it again in stores recently

I’m a girl and I’m going up to secondary school and for my school coat. It’s unisex and black and it’s Nike and it’s really suitable for school

I’ve watched your back to school stock take videos for a couple of years but this is the first time I’m doing it alongside you. Strangely excited to be able to go through the uniform from the past year and see what’s now needed 😂

I’ve always wanted to ask, what do you do about ironing the uniform? I’ve noticed you always put them on the canvas shelf system but do they not get creased? Just curious as when we were little my mum used to always make us hang it on a hanger. Or do u put it in the slots then iron on the morning. It’s nice to see how others do things differently with what works for them xx

Why do they have white PE tops? I guess you can bleach them but they’re going to get dirty super quick! I bet Bella will need a new coat the way she’s growing! That made me think my daughter might need new coat I would have her try On hers!
