Glad it was helpful! Even though this video is getting long in the tooth, all the info still applies.

Absolutely the most helpful tips on the Moment 58mm lens I've seen. Thank you for being so clear, concise, and having easily understood (and seen!) examples and comparisons. Thank you!!

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much mate. I just got my tele 58mm and now I’m preparing myself before I start shooting.

Kurt Papke absolutely sir. Smallest hints make great difference, at least for me.

I believe the main element I’m missing is a tripod. The camera becomes too sensitive after adding the lens.

I tried using it on a recent trip to Alaska, and didn't use a tripod because of the bright lighting. None of my shots turned out, I think it really messes with the iPhone autofocus algorithm.

Your review of the Moment 58mm, which I do own, was excellent. I then realized that your main interest is backpacking which is great but not for someone like me who has mobility issues. I used to hike every weekend until failed back surgery. Anyway, your explanation of the 58mm lens was better than what most photography viewers have ever posted. Great work. You should think of expanding to do more things like that as well.

Thanks so much for the very specific and useful feedback - greatly appreciated. I worked in the computer graphics industry back in the 80’s, so I’m familiar with the science. So sorry to hear about your back issues - I can relate as I have pretty much no disc left between L5 and S1. I am always looking for topics that have not been adequately covered by RU-vidrs, another example being my video on RT-60 acoustic measurements. If you have any suggestions, I am all ears!

Very informative. The split screen picture was a fantastic way of showing the differences in lenses. I'm impressed with the quality of the Moment lens (when used correctly) :-)

FWIW, I find that I almost never use the tele lens. It just takes too much setup and care to get sharp photos. If you are going to use it in a studio it'll be fine, but out in the field it doesn't work for me.
