People like Seb are the heartbeat of a great club. Any club is like an ant's nest - the visible few supported by the entire huge family of professional, enthusiastic, committed and passionate workers below the surface. Think how many people like Seb make the club what it is, from Roy and co down to the toilet cleaners. I'm sure that, if you ask them, they don't do the job for the money...they do it because they are Eagles (or, perhaps, if you're my age, Glaziers and then Eagles. I was there watching before Malcolm).
As a Palace supporter in America, I actually got into the club around the same time he did, and for many of the same reasons. Just like him, it was 0 to 100; I wasn’t even really aware of the club and then just like that I never missed a match (tho unlike him, I have only ever been able to watch from abroad). Something really special seemed to be going on around the club and there was an energy that was palpable. The beauty really is in the struggle too. Some day we’ll lift a cup and it will feel that much sweeter. Most of the other American fans I know support the traditional huge clubs, but from the very start I understood that this club was much more special than those that my friends support. Thanks for sharing Sebastian’s story COYP ❤️💙🦅
