Amazing video !! I planned from LA to Chicago but I met some of my friends and my favorite professor in University of Utah. Finished the trip two days ago. Took a stop for 20 - 30 min for every 3 hours and finally done in about 12 hours. This is my first time a long drive and I was tired so took rest for 2 days and have to start from Salt Lake City. Still long way to go to Chicago !! Wish me luck
I have made this trip many times but Las Vegas was a city along the way. My destination was Utah. The first time I made this trip was in 1992. There were fewer freeways and no Interstates. I travel east on US 66 to San Bernardo where we ran into US 91. 91 and 66 traveled together to Barstow. We started out on US 66 but we were told to go back to 91 and use that highway. We went through Las Vegas and continued north. About 124 miles north was St. George Utah. We continued north until we reached our destination, Brigham City Utah. After a two week visit we returned to Los Angeles. Years later US 66 was replaced by I-40 and US 91 was decommissioned south of Brigham City.
