With rising sea levels a lot of councils nationally are just writing off these roads as already lost. If that is happening to the Mili thats a real shame. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful roads in the country. Surely moving it in land at just 2 or 3 points is a price worth paying for another 20 years use. It will also buy the council time to make improvements to other roads that will have to take on more traffic when it does eventually go.

Move it inland like they did at Blackgang. This part of the Island is the prettiest and tourist love it.

On the mainland this type of road is often used to access the coast or appreciate the views. Every road on the Island is effectively an arterial road which people use to get to and from work. So once again a unique case and the Government fails to appreciate this.

My concern would be where does the traffic go if it is allowed to fall into the sea ? The B3399 wont cope with the traffic in Summer.

Drove along there last year - spectacular, but roads are for cars, and local councils hate cars these days. A road that has to be closed because it's falling into the sea is the answer to their prayers.

Very sad and rather symbolic of what's happening to the gradual erosion of British people. We're not meant to preserve the beauty of our landscapes for us to enjoy while the taxpayer forks out for proxy wars, nut zero, illegal imports and anything else a few megalomaniacs cook up in the drive to depopulate. The Military Road for chrissakes that the Romans built! I think it's about time we remembered how to fight back before we go the same way as the landslips. I can hear my Aunt's bones clattering who used to love being driven along there. Thanks for filming, IOWA, our rulers are rotten to the core.

The first one over Compton looks like it's moving quickly, that's really concerning. The one over Brook has been happening for years, no idea if they'll repair it, I don't think they know either.

That Compton one is moving fast. But we are getting a new toilet block at the carpark this year. The road seems secondary in priority.
