🎵Today's lesson covers chords to the jazz standard 'Summertime'. A song that some jazzers turn their nose up to, as if it's too popular to play! I think it's a timeless song and a very accessible song at that. Gershwin's song is widely known and there are many great versions. As a result everyone seems to have their own way of playing it (myself included). I thought it would be helpful to show you 3 ways to play it with some nice variations for you to pick and choose what you like the sound of. Playing standards with others will always reveal discrepancies between the chords. It's subjective what's the right version - they are just different.
