Thanks for making this video! According to SC Projects website, the GP-22 produces 122db @ 6500 rpm, while the S1 produces 123db @ 6500 rpm. I cant imagine how crazy the S1 exhaust sounds compared to the GP22! A comparison/fly-by video between the 2 would be very interesting!
I have an Aprilia Rsv4 2020 with grave exhost, soung good... but I think that with that sc project gp 22, the sound is really insane.... I love it.....
Absolutely lovely! I have a 2022 rsv4 factory 2022 and just put the akrapovic slip on with the racing mapping from Aprilia and it also sounds great 😉! I agree with the ear plugs.. I always use them
As far as looks I can't ever decide which looks better between these two exhaust. The GP 22, looks soo slick and matches the curves and lines of the bike but I also love the straight pipe look of the C1R
@@Victor_Moto honestly, I can't say anything bad about SC's stuff. I will say I wish they went with maybe throwing a CRT on the RS660 Extrema as I like shorter cans. That would be my only quibble with Aprilia/SC and that is simply a personal preference issue so not really an issue at all.
Wow. Gabro is famous abroad too. What is his choice of maps? I have a rsv4 factory2020 and I wanted to get the gp22 or crt but it’s not mountable. Only the sc1 r which almost sound as good as the crt. Crt is too loud and you can’t access race track here in Italy. So most of riders prefer Akra racing because it saves the warranty. I prefer the sc project sound
THANK YOU FOR THIS FOOTAGE.. IM GEETING ONE! I live in the high altitude ( 6000ft above sea level) and I cant find a Tune for my 22 rsv4 in this elevation. Any suggestions or recommendations?
My pleasure! Thanks for the sub. If you're in the US, feel free to order from the link in the description. Use promo code victorGP22 for free shipping. Have you looked into Gabro Racing maps?
@@Victor_Moto thanks for the promotional code, and no I haven't. I did look into Brent Tune because I heard good things . However the attitude is still the factor . Should I go Garbro Racing instead?
I like Race Fit. Good value. I think at that point, there are many "value" brands out there that are very similar in quality as Race Fit. The Titanium craftsmanship of the SC Project is higher quality imo.
Hi Victor, fitted GP22 to my 2022 RSV4 Factory a month ago and am using Gabro Decat DD03 Upmap, the bike runs great with no issues, just seen new SO STUBBY map from Gabro. Have you tried this yet and if so which is best map for GP22 in your valued opinion. Thanks for your great work. Mike
Hey Mike. I'm running the same map as you. As soon as the rain and flooding eases up in Southern California, I'm going to dyno the bike with both maps including that new STUBBY map and will share videos here.
@@Victor_Moto thanks for reply and look forward to your dyno tests. In meantime am thinking of getting stubby map anyway as gabro says is better suited to GP22. So when I remap I will let you know my thoughts. Mike
Hi Victor, got SR Shorty map (was called so stubby) from Gabro last week and replaced Decat Map which I was using (like you) with Gp22. This weekend used the bike with SR Shorty installed. As this map is a fine tune of the decat map to better match with the shorter exhausts, the changes feel very subtle. Everything feels slightly sharper, smoother and stronger with slightly better throttle connection. Also I thought the exhaust note sounded crisper with less rattle. Obviously the fan actuation is 5 degrees lower but this time of year did not activate. Did not notice any tick over differences but mine was OK with decat map anyway. Looking forward to see what differences the dyno shows, please let me know. Speak soon. Thanks Mike in portugal.
Big fan of the sc1r, that's the way to go on any bike in my opinion, and it's the best option on the ape,the gp 22 is so annoying and a total rip off,a slip on that cost 2200$ is robbery, I think you should wait for the Chinese version of it,would cost 50$,what a freakin joke the gp22 slip on!!
I know this is a bad question, but does the GP-22 come with a dB reducer, or have one as an option? Seems like it would be technically illegal/too loud for the street
@@honkmonk4638 I understand. I would get the exhaust as its not a full exhaust and take it to countries where you can use it use a different exhaust tip and take it with you its only 500grams.. swap it out again before your trip back to a country that doesn't allow it. thats what I'd do.
Having been around both in person the GP22 wins both in the volume and looks department. That CR-T is loud as hell too but the GP22 literally hurt my ears.
@@Victor_Moto you are dumb if you think a 2lb titanum tube is worth $2200. A full Spark/Akra Evo can be had for the same and you can actually make power with those rather than sounding like a coke can
Ok honestly yes its a cool looking and sounding exhaust BUT why would you ever spend the money on it its basically just a straight pipe for 2k you can buy so many other that sound the same but cost 1/4 the price
@@Victor_Moto 600-700 for an Austin racing exhaust is affordable, and it's a really well made and nice sounding exhaust, not a piece of crap shorty that cost 2200$,I like SC don't get me wrong but they are using the hype on their products to steal ppl's money with that piece of junk, not a fan of it and looks ugly, sc1r looks and sounds way much better imho
