You answered my question from the previous video here, as expected. Totally get where you are coming from. For me, the instant recall is a problem also. Having said that, I did appreciate the quality of the sound, but it's not enough.

Your criticisms of eurorack are correct, i.e. price, space, cable clutter and inability to have all the modules in the world (unless you're a corrupt politician or something). However, what you've tried wasn't a very interesting collection of modules, consciously chosen by you and your taste. So you basically tried eurorack without knowing what and how you wanted from it. From my experience, eurorack is best for unorthodox things - complex and unconventional oscillators, interesting filter designs, complicated fx, ability to mix and quantize different cv sources, feedback patching and control, and so on. I.e. there's no point in building a boring substractive synth-voice with your typical saw vco into a filter into vca. All I'm saying that it may be worth revisiting at some point in the future. With some stackable cables)

For me a small Modular is only a Soundtool inside Bitwig to create some crazy stuff

agreed about the hardware limitation. Although maybe you can use a mseg module, oh no wait no mseg in hardware or bitwig :p

Is it possible to send Pitch and Gate from the grid via Midi to any Synthesizer?

I prefer my collection of semi-modular hardware instruments when it comes 2 targets and sources of signals *across different machines* . Nested devices R something i love 2 work with but found it quite difficult 2 span the live wires cross platforms, devices and build generations. I can CV trigger them with a battery or even by using servos as a dynamo who puts an electric current 2 the housing. As entertainers i think we have the duty 2 make it somehow interesting and visualize what we have 2 say 2 our audiences. As a producer, on the other hand, i do love the fact that there is hardly anyway way 2 run out of modules or patchcables when using *_The Grid_* or nested devices inside BITWIG. At least electronic Dancemusic is the genre where i make my moves. So by nature i have a more physical (and haptical) aproach on making music happening at a rave. Noone of us is missing the shitty old times when AKAI - S1000 was the "State of the Art" tech-device in the usual studio enviroment. But calculators just mimicking natural processes, nothing more than a mathematical model 2 the physical world, right?. We R not making copys anymore -in fact we R cloning information and modding a softsynth 2 yo needs is a difficult thing... In music there is no "wrong". Besides "right" there always is something new and unexpected! In a binary enviroment it is fundamental that something is "true" or "false" -no room left 4 "Happy Errors" but one can get shit done without spending money U simply do not have but would earn if U could get the job done. XD Like U already said in yo video above: No physical bounderies! Yo own perception is the only (theoratically) limit. I really enjoy your philosophically insights on the process of making music and what 2 learn from the universal principles it teaches us.
