I'm disappoint your your "throw away the first round" comments. Those movie themes were not only musically intricate but took a lot of time and work to memorize for student with full schedules. These band members are are also students and their efforts shouldn't be thrown away by of all people former bandsman. In addition, I'm sure a great deal of time and effort went into composing each arrangement. The first round showed the musicianship and underscored the fact that HBCU bands are more than just popular Rap, Pop, and R&B shake your A$$ musicians. You all are former musicians with a platform to enlighten and educate your audience from the black perspective but from my vantage point you failed and lost a moment to discus and praise the effort of the HBCU Band Students. If we truly want the world to recognize HBCU band programs fairly and just, then it all starts with us on our own platforms, if not then what is the point of the platform?

I think people don't understand what adro was saying. Its cool that they are movie tracks and all but let's be honest thst round was a snooze fest. I appreciate movie theme songs played by bands but this time it wasnt it

This was one of the worst battle of the season. Man, what a disappointment !!!!
