One part of the drone issue not addressed is gambling which I think is a big deal. Integrity of the game is essential to that part of the equation. If there is even a perception that the games are on the level it’s a big problem given how interwoven that has become.
The US players were extremely determined to win, and very very attentive to details. They basically converted the errors made by NZ defense into goals (the 1st two). After that they did the hard work to control the tempo and the stats.. By the time NZ realized they're down 4-0 it was too late for them, but they scored a beautiful goal. Lesson to all, the Beautiful Goal scored by NZ may not get them into the next Round. However the 4 scrappy goals scored by the US may, and that same personality can get them to the semis.. To be determined if they want to go that far. It's a competition of who has more will. Guinea won't be easy, of course not, but they can lose also.
23:10 That is actually an excellent Point. A Goalkeeper is like the Pitcher in Baseball. There are times in the game where that Goalkeeper or Pitcher, must help his team by making the save. And these moments are known by exceptional Goalkeeper, or you know who those goalkeepers are by their success. The goalkeeper watches the game from the field and knows or learns to read the game that way, some of it is instinct but some of it is learned. Example he can see the forward of the other team get ready and communicate with his winger or the lateral backs, and so since he knows his defense and can see if their not well positioned, a valuable goalkeeper needs to be one who helps his team in those situations and more. Tony Meola and Casey Keller and Time Howard were that type which is why they had a great success. The current USMNT Goalkeepers need to hear this and know they can be great if they help their team. We just got done talking about Berhalter's USMNT and how that goalkeeper wasn't helping his team enough. The Goalkeeper is part of the spine of a strong team and can be the spine of the team on his own. Like I said he sits in the back watching the game, and if the defenders and the whole team do a great job, he doesn't participate except in giving verbal instructions. The bottom line is, Teams don't win unless they have 11 excellent players each one plays a critical role in the success of that team If you have a strong Goalkeeper, you can build a stronger Team. The Backbone of a Team can be the Goalkeeper on his own.

New Zealand leads the world in Rugby and Cricket, then it's probably swimming, track and field...football is probably their 10th most popular sport. So gloating over beating the 94th ranked football nation is cringe.
Thats crazy. He was one of the top players on the field against France. Always covers the ground, cuts out passes and makes important runs while playing forward. Not to mention he got a goal today.
