When i play: oponent draws exactly what he needs and i draw either only lands or not enough lands When content creator play: he draws exactly what he needs and/or oponents draw like shit
Yeah it’s frustrating… but keep in mind that content creators only show a few good matches… if they draw badly, misplay or get smoked, they may not be added to the final edited video
I'm glad I found this. I'm a newbie and run my goblins up to diamond tweaking as I go. I might try your setup, but so far I've gotten alot of use out of buff instants and equipment, playing around with some thundering raiju as a way to make the longer games more feasible.

Been watching your videos for a few weeks, I’m 9000% sure it’s because you timed the chime in your intro with the syllables of “Co--vert go blueee” and it haunts me in my dreams.
One day CGB tried to replace those chimes with a new tune (the one that is currently the outro theme), but us serfs revolted and demanded our anthem to be returned back to the intros! =) It's not that the new (currently outro) theme is bad, but the chime one just felt so innate and so associative with CGB!
You know what is more of a meme than Relic Robber? Having Immersturm Predator and Innkeeper in play and let them through, giving you live and stuff to sac for predator. I could taste the salt of my opponent XD.
I wanted to come back to this video and thank you CBG, the highest rank I've ever been was like tier 3 plat and when I got reset to gold T4, I used this deck and was able to reach Diamond T4 ! I am sure it will drop off soon and I will craft something else but wow this deck aint no joke
I built mine with magic missile because multi target damage is fun and screw counter magic, and You see a pair of goblins for additional bodies and spicy finishes, but mostly have the same components as any standard 2022 compatible goblins.
I like relic robber for goblins but sometimes it’s rough with winota in regular standard or sacrifice in 2022. I forget what I ran into that buffed all their creatures including the robber tokens
I feel that the deck lacks real punch, apart from the Havens, and rather heavily relies on the starting hand, which makes it overall rather swingy: I assume it could run somewhere around the 50%+ region in the long run, over a few 100 games.

I’ve been jamming goblin aggro in historic, so many hasty 1 drops and you have good advantage engines like snoop and ringleader. The creature land is also a goblin.

Question...is running 4 creature lands a good thing in this meta? Especially for aggro decks. You're guaranteeing 2 tapped lands. And with Haven, you have 4 colorless sources. Whenever I build decks like this, I run 2 and 2 or 3 and 3, and I rarely get mana screwed by doing so
Answer? Yes. Faceless Haven especially so. A versatile scaleling threat that taps for mana is good enough for 4 of. Especially in any deck with tribal synergy.
I’d watch you play black white control at least once a week. It’s such a sweet deck. Change out one card each time and call it new. A legion angel here. An Ebondeath there.
I gave another chance after seeing your 7-1 strike... I had a 3-4. 3 matches with just 2 lands and all the 3+ in hand, 1 match flooded and crushed by monogreen, 2 match against monoblack with small creatures blocking and many removals. I won 1 just because my opponent played badly... The curve is not working for me... As soon as opponent drops a toughness 4 in turn 3 it becomes very hard
Good video. I heard you live in northern michigan..i live 45 minutes from tc... I want to add ya as a friend to challenge if your interested. Trying to improve my deck building and to fine tune some of my ideas for decks.. Thank you for making the videos..it helps to see how those decks and strategy behind the build..i played the card game when it first came out. I dont like i cant use certain cards but understand mtg is leveling the playing field to support new players. Ps...now that i started playing 2 months ago...the goblin deck has become big. Lol I would like to challenge your goblin deck to mine.
I love this deck, it's fun its fast and it does it's best in the shadow of embercleave. I dont think it's nearly the best as compared to mono green and mono white but it does the job.

Not everybody hates relic robbers. I have actually killed opponents by pumping those little 0\1s. So in the mirror the relic robber becomes actually bad. Also Witherbloom and other sacrifice decks tend to enjoy relic robbers a lot.
I may succumb to the temptation... Mono Red and Mill are the two archetypes I have warded myself from playing. I shall lie to myself and say it is simply for daily completions, muahaha.
@@Devtronzor that's true but I want to be more creature aggressive in goblins. I think we should splash into boros goblins for rally the ranks or paladin class
Relic robber is the most unfortunate fun card in a long while, it gets hosed by the black decks,ranger class AND galazeth. Legit thinking of removing it from my goblins list.

wait so instead of fitting the starter decks to the sets they sell, they make the cards of a pack legal without selling them in boosters? isn't that basically paywalling certain cards? seems rather shady to me
I was so happy when the 2022 queue came out because it meant no more mono red turn 4 deaths, then comes this stupid deck. Ah well. Guess I've got to find room for some more sweepers.
Your mono-black control deck has a 72% winrate over 100 games - it clowns mono green and black white control - biggest threat is actually skeletal swarm decks....
