Brings back memories. I still have my rs4 r2. OS max motor. Aluminum bottom. All carbon fiber upper. Two speed. Thing screams. Seeing this makes me want to dig it out of the garage and get her rippin again! Great looking rs4!!

Hey brother! What an absolute beauty! I got the OG Nitro RS4 back in 97' when it first came out and I happily still have it! My car is combo of aluminum and carbon fiber! The only things I havent replaced are the front and rear diff bulk heads.... Its hard finding parts for these guys today! Best mod was the T3.0 engine! She a beast! I'm 37 now and still love this thing!

Very clean. I still have my Nitro RS4 2 from when I got it stock/brand new as a birthday gift some 20 years ago. I'm getting back into this after being gone for about 13 years. The last thing I did before hibernation was replace the old 15FE with a new TRX 3.3, Nova Race Head and TSAIS tuned pipe and those are unused to this day. I just bought a XRAY T4, my first electric, and now I'm trying to source a few parts for my RS4 2 to complete it. I can't find an aluminum rear bulkhead, aluminum rear brake block, aluminum rear gear support, aluminum center bulkhead, aluminum smaller pulleys that sit on the side and center of the car, or an aluminum piece that sits underneath the front bulkhead. I will be replacing my aluminum arms with oem arms to keep it as a function over form shelf queen. Already have all the other carbon graphite parts and robinson racing brake and diffs, along with some unknown brand purple titanium 3mm chassis. I thought about running this again, but l think I'm just going to get a new engine for my Savage and run that instead. I see you're using an aluminum super nitro front bulkhead, is that a super nitro rear bulkhead as well? Are the lower control arms super nitro/wider as well? I want to keep the width the same as stock, but I'm wondering if I can use those bulkheads as I found some for the super rs4, but not the original nitro rs4.

I'm the same got my bashers and got my fully customized all aluminum almost done with my all aluminum 3.3 revo converted to brushless it's looking clean.

Very nice!!!! That is basically a super nitro with an rs4 2 chassis, top deck and front belt. Also the rear shock mount that you mentioned. Super Dope build! 💪🙏
Sure is a beautiful car. I love all the eye candy. I’m buying a bunch of aluminum parts for my RS4 3 , while I can still get them. I think GPM must still be in business.

derrick brandon ..it’s getting harder to find parts .. I would check from time to time on eBay .. they always have good stuff!! They use to be a company by called mega tech but they closed down unfortunately !! I hope this helps!
The rs4 is beautiful I did a jato years ago looked so good I would not run it a guy a work seen it and made me an offer that I was not got to let go o just found a brand new rc10gt black tube how do you polish anodized parts the frame looks dull I'm scared of mothers don't want to make lite spots trying to get rid of the cloudy look and give it a shine

I have another two builds like this but they are rs4 3 versions that I have to do videos for .. but anyhow .. it’s getting harder and harder to find parts for the racer2 .. it’s old!! first try eBay .. every so often they list parts for this car.. unfortunately mega tech who made parts for this car closed down.. just check your local hobby stores .. sometimes they have old stock!! Man I wish I could be more.. but like I said it’s an old car that I wish they would remake!

How are you brother? Well, for the most part all of the RS4 and super nitro parts are interchangeable… I just looked up the GTB upgradesand it looks like it will fit your build ..

killa wattz hi!! I always said that I wouldn’t sell my work.. but maybe if the price was right ..lol!! I guess if the price was right... hpi doesn’t make this car no more so it’s definitely a collectors piece and one to have as part of rc history !
