This thing is sweet. I have a RS4 Pro I built when I was in high school. Never put any electronics in it. Still looks brand new.

I had a Rooster reversible and a T4. Woohoo! Big time! One of the benefits of having a part-time job at a hobby shop. Colpar all day swing shift at Stapleton airport swing shift. I was the guy who painted the Golden Tail on the Proud Bird, and fixed your squeaky seatbacks in the cabin 😆 Fix the the old car.🤪

Send it!! lol I just bought an HPI RS4 911 Porsche, shaft driven with fuchs offset rims on slick tires.. I love it! It “was” a shelf queen.. I’m going to try and squeeze a HobbyWing fusion 2300kv in there so I can shoot some video’s without wrecking it.

i remember my RS4 Pro 2 that i used to race as a young man HPI was really great n the TC scene back then great to c u have have the OG RS4 but i ran the JR Python radio and always Novak ESCs for all my cars/trucks

Super cool ride!! I would liked to seen it with those wheels and tires put in there. But as far as the car goes i would definitely like to see it again real soon with a hot motor and some new shoes tearing up the asphalt.😂 but keep the videos coming

Heck yeah get out there and have fun with the Hobby, just in from work watching now. R S 4 looks super cool, most of my addiction is crawlers monster trucks and definitely rat rods well we’ll catch you on the next one until then peace and chicken grease 😁🤙🤙😎

If you're looking for something to polish the plastic shell, try polywatch or any brand of "plastic watch crystal polish" to buff out the scratches. I tired it on the windows of an old lexan body and it worked so well I ended up using it on the whole body lol. Super jealous right now, I wanted one of these back in the day so bad but I just never had the money. I think you should restore it and turn it into drifter. 👍👍

I love this vintage content man! Unfortunately I was out of RC during the heydays of HPI. I just had some fun driving my TA02 brushless with Subaru Brat lexan body on it and rally tires. I would like you to make this into a runner!

Yard sold all my old HPI , awesome video though of a flashback, although with hpi's new owners I bet this rig gets re released lol.

I still have my Hpi RS4 rally and still use it from time to time only because parts are getting hard to find for it

I have the same exact one but mine came with the Honda Accord body

For the price of Nimh batteries now you can get decent lipo’s ..here in Britain I wouldn’t buy nimh batteries too expensive
