Scottish football is such a beauty, real passionate football fans supporting Their club because of love, nog big money of massive investors involved, No fake fanbases wint gloryhunters. Old classic football stadiums, underrated League 4 sure
Hey @Footy Adventures really enjoy your content but gotta be honest, missed some important context here: On the 13th minute there was a minutes applause by everyone in the ground for a 13-year-old kid, Devin Gordon, who took his own life. A real moment of community from the people of Edinburgh that crossed the divide of football rivalry. Other than that, should have let the people listen to the singer before the game, then his GIRUY gestures to the away end was a good laugh. Got to argue about the lack of quality. We are so used to sanitised football down in the EPL that we take for granted the heart, grit and ferociousness of a real derby which is what we witnessed on Tuesday night. We saw no lack of great technique on both sides and some great defending from Sibbick on a few occasions, crossing from Cadden, goalkeeping from Dabrowski, and many more examples. A great, entertaining game played in an absolute cauldron. You do a lot to promote Scottish football and that's good, and I'm not saying it was El Classico, but it was a very entertaining game for a 0-0 with lots of controversy and passion - what more could you want? Keep up the good work.
So glad you finally got to an Edinburgh derby. Hearts fan in Cambridgeshire and so hoping to get up for the next one at Tynie in April 🤞🏻 also hoping to have goals!! Cmon Jambos
Exactly - bizarre decision to include someone like that in the video. They looked like they would talk rubbish even when sober, let alone the inebriated nonsense they came out with here. Looked suspiciously young as well, but perhaps his age was checked at some point along the way.
A fair assessment from my vantage point in Bermuda! Love the content my friend….great stuff. I thought the United 13 minute applause for the poor young lad Devon Gordon was poignant to say the least.
Great video mate, new subscriber here (Hibs fan). Glad you enjoyed the atmosphere, agree quality wasn’t the best but quite a few chances and reasonably entertaining for a 0-0 👍🏻
I've been to many derby games in Scotland. The Edinburgh one is ok, not as fun as: 1. Old Firm 2. Dundee Derby 3. ICT vs Ross County 4. Killie vs Ayr 5. Arbroath vs Montrose 6. Albion Rovers vs Airdrie 7. East Stirling vs Stirling Albion 8. Dunfermline vs Raith Rovers 9. East Fife vs Cowdenbeath 10. Motherwell vs Hamilton 11. Clydebank vs Clyde 12. Aberdeen vs Dundee United 13. Morton vs St Mirren then in 14 I had Hibs vs Hearts.
@@FootyAdventures Square sausage doubler, with either egg, black pudding or potato scone on a crispy roll with brown sauce. If you're feeling macho go for the triple.
Both Derby's goalless so far. Hearts should've won 3-0 by Dobrovsky was in great form, Hibs nearly stole the 3 points in the 90th inute but it was cleared off the line.
I love these videos! Great work, once again. I'm following Scottish football for many years without having a favourite team.. I guess that's because there's too much politics (which I, as a non-scot, cannot truly understand) involved in the bigger teams like Celtic, Rangers, Hearts and Hibs, unfortunately.. so, my sympathy goes towards Dumbarton..but only because I just love elephants 😂🐘
@@lewm1427 I like several things about the Hibs, Edinburgh is the Scottish city I'd most likely gonna visit one day and I have Irish ancestry, so Hibs would be a "logic choice" indeed 😄 ..though, I've also read several articles and comments in different forums, calling them the bitter, jealous, even more sectarian little step-brother of Celtic.. I guess Scottish football is too much of a local phenomenon to "join in" from another country and just "pick a team" as I've read in a comment in a Celtic forum claiming one must be born with a club in Scotland..
Completely untrue , come to edinburgh and go to a game urself and see. Unfortunately celtic & rangers give scotland a bad name when it comes to all of this
Can’t believe you haven’t done Queen Of The South yet bud the only football team in the bible! Be good to see you in Dumfries pal you would be more than welcome!
Hey man, you hanging around Edi? I'm a student there atm, big Everton fan (an unofficial Hibs fan), was just wondering if I could grab a photo or something. Hope you enjoyed your stay man.
No or hardly any away fans at the old firm has taken something away from that fixture. Hibs v Hearts is one of if not thee oldest derby fixture still being played in the world and is undoubtedly a special fixture.
Have to say, of all the games in Scotland to go to, this is the absolute bucket list fixture I must attend (more so than the Old Firm, oddly). Cracking vid mate, love your work 👍
