Broooo, I've been feeling the same way lately too! And realizing that all of my favorite artists always started their work with a simple pen/pencil/brush and paper, is so liberating! That's literally my forte too, Idk why I thought it'd be faster or more organic drawing on a tablet first 🤦🏾♂️ the texture of a physical pen on paper is so orgasmic than a tablet on the slippery glass or plastic screen

Bro he said sketching is done on paper, as sort of a free flowing thing in which you just make your ideas flow. Grids are used in software, on computer, on a paper grids are not used because it's all about free flowing thoughts. He said grids in context to when you're actually designing on illustrator or Photoshop
I also have problema in creating logos and I feel there is not si much information out there about the tecnical part so yeah a full video about grids Will ve so cool
