Which Meepo Mini did you review? That doesn't appear to be the Mini 5. I just got a Mini 5 and the remote has no LED display at all. Push resistance is also pretty high.
I had both. Bustin manualed good but the rubber didn’t hold up and I ended up motor swapping with meepo donuts. It took some torque away for the size but made it roll smoother. I liked my meepo mini 2 for 1100 miles and the bustin for 700 miles. Sold both. Meepo price unbeatable and stronger acceleration… but bustin looked and felt better. Pick one I guess. Meepo charged faster and seemed to last almost as long even tho it has like 50 less watt hours…
The nose is good for rolling up curbs, you manual the front wheels up then nose manual the back wheels up before you end up slamming the back truck into the curb. I deck swapped my meepo mini with a old school Powell reissue with a nose. Drilled/cut a handle in the nose too that makes it super easy to scoop up the board from a ride if you need to for other reasons.
@@PatrickHaines33 A deck swap sounds like a fun project! The replacement would presumably need to be very rigid to take the weight - how did the old school Powell Peralta take it?
@@hozn Meepo Mini tail seems fine to me - but I'm not trying to pop the 17 lb. beast with it. I've got a SmoothStar #77 34" surfskate with a super long tail - I don't really find the extra length beneficial.
pity the meepo is ugly AF compared to the bustin front and back, maybe if u could put the meepo parts in the bustin deck and enclosure, then ud have the ultimate board.
