Remove the two small screws under the blade. Now loosen the screws that holds the wire that holds the cutting blade. Push it forward. Put the blade set back on the trimmer then zero gap just like the clipper. They slice hair like butter. 🤙

S craft! I bought the JRL because of our conversation we had at the shop back when I came for a cut with bossio! Love the clippers. I also put a 3VERSINCE SPX ceramic blade (the wahl version) and it is even better. The crunch is crazy.

Im a beginner and a friend recommended these. I zero gapped the trimmer. You take off the two little screws on the bottom and then loosen the two little screws holding the little bar. Then move the bar up and thats it.

If you’re having trouble with it opening up to a full one. When you make your second guideline. Close the clipper halfway. About two clicks. That should make it easier for you. I had the same issue. And it worked really well for me

Honestly i love the extra range on it. I rarely use a half or 1.5 guard at all with them. Reminds me of the masters so much but without the cutting sound obviously. And with the gamma dub magnetic guards they are goat level

@@amaany3838 your blade is probably set on top of eachother or overlapping. Back it off a bit. Mine are gapped almost ontop of eachother and it takes out the skin line easy and the dubs dont make any noise at all for me.

I believe they cut smooth because of the cutting blade its got a staggered tooth edge to it and its ceramic. It doesnt seem like its ceramic because its coated in steel but it actually is.

@@s.craftblendz730 go to Sally beauty supply. They have some trimmers called ion extreme high torque trimmer. They sell the blade separately. These fit right on the jrl ff trimmer. These blades zero gap much better. I put the blade on my trimmers and now they hit!

I put a gamma flat fade blade on the 2020c and it evens out to the wahl taper blade. Had to mod trimmer blade to make it hit.

I have 2 and when i zero gap them they hit pretty good but not amazing. I still think skeletons and a gtx outliner hit harder 100%. However these are the best trimmers in my opinion for beards, balding out, going around the ears and neckline, and doing kids. I pretty much prefer these every time unless im trying to do a front edge up or the c cups. Like they hit good and you can definitely do the edge up with them and do it nice and clean but i feel like to make it sharp it takes more work.
