@@yamato9753 there would be a lot of options avilable :) like a "pet" contest involving the horse, choper, the lion (if its still part of buggys crew) and whatever is in shanks crew. or eating contest with luffy, the large guy from shanks crew, blackbeard and someone from buggys team. so many options hehe

Agree! The fight and reveal is always good, but I miss the adventurous part. I still remember how hyped I was when they found out that the Sky Island is a thing and and all of the mysteries around it. To be honest, the lightning island that Urouge went to in the beginning of the New World arc pretty fit for this mysterious vibe. And we haven't see anything else about that island aside that one panel about Urouge

your idea is some trash that a generic shonen anime would have LMAO, One Piece is the best shonen ever made you aren't able to write even one chapter for this let alone the ending

@@justawanderingoldman7699 Agree, but I want the smaller arcs more, like whiskey peak, reverse mountain, etc. I wish luffy and crew had fought more small battles, maybe a splinter force of big mom's army with katakuri at the head earlier on on an island the big mom pirates control, that kind of thing.

That's divine departure, the same attack gold roger did to Oden, but shanks version was killer mode, fully awakened skill, luffy might end up getting one hit just like how kidd ended up. Shanks is no joke, dude's a monster.

Groggy Ring for some reason makes me think it'd be like the One Piece version of thsoe ove the top Mario Soccer games.

Would absolutely love to see Franky and Jinbe construct and sail a ship and just wipe the floor with whoever they go against! Groggy is one I can see multiple variations of sport like competitions that also allow for sparing to account for the bigger crews

I would think that Imu and the elder fit more as final enemies for Dragon and Sabo. It's basicaly the whole purpose of the Revolutionaries.

Also the fact that we know all 4 of them are human, so to speak. Shanks, Blackbeard and Buggy seem much more chill than Kaido and Big Mom.

I wouldn’t like it if Shanks essentially completed Luffy’s dream for him. Seems like some cuckoldery to me.

I have an alternative theory; the real, REAL Final-Boss Antagonist of the series will be KOBY! In the anime-adaptation at least, we were actually introduced to Koby even BEFORE we were to Luffy, and long before BlackBeard was even introduced, It was established that Luffy and Koby would have to fight each other someday, which hasn't really happened yet, as far I know. I mean sure, they lightly-sparred back in WaterSeven, but that wasn't really a fight with stakes or anything. Luffy vs Shanks might sound cooler and have more hype behind it though, especially since they've been hyping-up the power and cool-factor of Shanks for like, EVER, whereas Koby has always been much more of a background character. But THAT'S JUST IT! As you said, it'd be too obvious if BlackBeard were the Final-Antagonist, though I think the exact same would be true for Shanks, because he's even MORE hyped-up than BlackBeard! Koby, though? I totally forgot he even existed until he showed up again at WaterSeven, and I didn't recognize him at all until they said it was him! He's much more low-key than either Shanks or BlackBeard, but every time he shows up, he's much stronger than before, and Oda essentially promised us that He and Luffy would one day have to meet again as enemies. You normally wouldn't guess that Koby'd be the Final-Antagonist since he makes even fewer appearances than Shanks, and his demonstrable growth isn't telegraphed as loudly as Luffy and BlackBeard's, but there's definitely precedent for it I think.
