What, Sir? This is Greece. Are we so ugly? Thank you for the compliment! Unfortunately, we can't change our appearance (neither we would like to but that's another matter). Now seriously, excuse us we keep 2-3 of our most official ceremonies non-multi-cultural. Only Greeks are allowed to participate. In the Presidential Guard, likewise. Our history is perfectly recorded, written down with Greek blood, unlike ink. Except very few exceptions and in miniscule numbers, none ever helped us in our struggles by being on our side. We were always doing said struggles alone. What black people have to do with the lit of the flame in Olympia? Even back then only Greeks were allowed to participate. Only one exception we made for the Romans once and that's because they conquered us with their weapons, we conquered them with our civilization. Please, try to understand our sensitive feeling on this particular matter. Don't rush to judge us as racist or anything. We still exist as people 'cause of my ancestors' efforts who wouldn't ever submit to anyone. We owe them this much. In the Olympic Games the entire world is welcome to participate, with great pleasure. Besides, we're the poorest European country. We don't have many non-Greeks who want to stay here.
