I was going to say the same thing. It loses SO MUCH when you can't see them reacting to each. :( I so hope they go back to split screen. Far more entertaining. My favorite part is seeing them be amused by each other. Especially Mark.
He has never ranted & raged about finding the killer or killers that destroyed his life! Especially a man with his kind of connections-he could have overturned every rock in that county. But, no need, the killer is in the mirror. Scary guy.
I've been saying the same exact thing. I would be freaking out if I was on trial and I was innocent. I probably get contempt of court there's no way I could just sit there and let them ask me questions for hours knowing I was innocent I would lose my mind.
This was a great analysis, guys. IMHO his total lack of concern for who might have committed the murders gives him away. Apart from that he is intent on obscuring, omitting, avoiding pretty much everything that he is presented with, all things that truthful people don’t do.
TOTALLY AGREE! Seemed like the Defense’s case was more about confusing the facts than uncovering them. I think they thought they could show “reasonable doubt” by doing that but what they didn’t count on was a jury of his PEERS who have watched that good ole boys network in action their whole lives decide “NOT THIS TIME”. Frankly that video exposing his FIRST LIE that he wasn’t at the kennels, was what likely made it a far easier decision for them. They got it right & they put a huge hole in a system that has been operating unopposed for far too long.
@Serendipity Studio Alex had pissed off all of those courageous jurors! Can you imagine if he was free? He would've killed all of them and the courageous Shelly, Blanca and all of those courageous people! God bless Paul's phone! By the time Alex got to Paul's phone? The battery was dead! So Alex couldn't erase that video! BOOM! And that's how you go up the river!
To follow Chase’s point of what is missing in Alex’s court appearance … Alex never said, “I wanted to know who would do this! Who would do this? I wish I could have protected them!” (If he’s innocent.)
2 hours of body language analysis heaven 🎊🎊 Personal preference: I preferred watching all 4 of you on screen at once, it feels choppier when it’s one person at a time - but love watching you all no matter what 😊
I agree - your reactions to each other is half of the fun! But I’d tune in even if you turned your backs to the camera. You guys have a proven record that is quite impressive!
My mom died suddenly and I hadn’t spoken to her in days. I have no recollection of the last thing she said to me. I didn’t know I’d need to remember it…
Guys, please go back to the split screen format showing the four of you at once. It's so much better watching the interaction between you as you analyze the videos. Please consider. It's just so much better.
I think this is the best example of never answering a question I’ve ever seen. If your desperate to be seen as innocent, you would answer clearly and emphatically, leaving no room for ambiguity. I think the two life sentences are deserved.
I literally spent the ENTIRE day watching the state’s closing argument today along with the trip to visit Moselle property. I need this case to be closed so I can get on with my life! I’m OBSESSED, lol 😂😂……
Mark, when you are feeling zero empathy for the guy; I as a highly empathetic person was actually feeling disgust. I am usually moved by people's emotions, and can therefore tell when someone is faking, and that elicits my disgust.
Am i the only person who is bothered by him saying, "I wouldn't HURT Mags or Paul?" NOBODY HURT THEM!!! SOMEBODY VICIOUSLY MURDERED THEM!!! 😤😤😤😤😤 Edit: 53:14 Exactly!
My opinion; I like when we can see all four of you at the same time. I find it better to be able to see the reactions of each of you when one speaks. I enjoy watching and learning from your show 😊
I like seeing the 4 of you at the same time because I like to see your reactions to each other. Especially when Mark is talking about Greek gods and Chase is loosing it 🤣🤣
I have never enjoyed commentary sessions more than I have listening to these four professionals. Not only am I entertained but I LEARN how to better listen to people. This channel is just brilliant - thanks gentlemen!
If I were innocent I would still be angry and crying and screaming that I didnt do it. I wouldnt be conferring with my attorney about how they are going to twist this around. The guy is guilty as hell and his eyes show it.
Are you a male? Have you been in this man’s shoes? All of these one sided comments are repulsive. Maybe that’s why I shouldn’t be reading these comments. I just don’t understand the mob mentality.
Those Alex eyes! His beady little eyes at C.Waters! And today with John Meadows! Guilty! But I think Waters and Meadows should have 24/7 security for their families and themselves until the Murdaughs spilt town? I have never seen a more vicious man like Alex was during the closings with Waters & Meadows?
Just came here to say I realized TBP used AM pic with SNOT coming out of his nose as a cover for this video, and it's brilliant. One of the jurors who spoke to the media after the trial said when asked about AM "crying": "There were no tears. Only snot."
Hello Behaviour Panel. Just so you know, I much prefer when you are all 4 are on screen, listening to each other. I am sure it is tiring, but it helps to see your reactions to what each other are saying. Love this channel. Am learning from you continuously.
This is my favourite program!! Love you guys. I love that you try out new formats, but I miss seeing all four of you at once if I’m honest…..I like to see you guys reacting to each other as well. That said, I’ll be watching whatever way you do it
yeah the whole format is much more an interaction between all of them and now it feels like a monologue, also much cooler to see all live expressions from all the others :)
I'm listening to Alex not remembering either he called 911 first or went and checked and handled Maggie and Paul's bodies, I go back to our families worst tragedy. My little 4 year old brother was killed when crushed to a tree by a car, I saw it and at the time I was 8 years old, I'm 77 now and I still remember everything I did and everything my parents did, that was that was about 70 years ago and it still hurts! I can't wrap my mind around a 50+ year old man, Alex, not remembering about finding Maggie and Paul and either he went to them or dialed 911 first and that was only a couple of years ago.
Great show. Please go back to split screen. I like seeing everyone like having a conversation together. Thank you for the work on the Murdaugh testimony.
Really enjoying this live feed with the following caveat; I miss seeing all four of you together, I am not a fan of this new presentation format since one of the best things about your channel is the interaction between the four of you and your individual reactions to each other, I love watching that and is a good part of me never missing an episode. You guys are great, thank you for all the knowledge I've acquired over the past couple of years!
I’m not a fan either. For some reason it’s just not the same at all and almost didn’t finish the video bc I wasn’t as interested 🤷🏼♀️ and I love you guys!
Chase - there has been sooo much missing about this guy: 1) why didn’t he ever say something like “if only…”, ever? 2) why wasn’t he concerned more about finding who did it? 3) why wasn’t he concerned about Buster’s safety afterward? 4) he asked his drug dealer to shoot him so he did??!!! WTF??! Sooo much more to this back story. ‘MISSING LIES’ should be the title of the movie.
Great analysis! I miss seeing the four of you together. It’s more interesting (for me) with the old format, zeroing in on individuals now and then as they share. The feeling of the team is weakened and the opportunity for banter is gone.
WOW I thought I was the only one with the same thinking…I really don’t like the way they are doing now…you absolutely right about weakened the team. I really like before whe one was talking, you could see the reaction of the others..
Not only did he tell law enforcement that he checked the bodies before calling 911, he told the woman on the 911 call that he had touch them. She said, "Don't touch the bodies" and he said, "I already did". I wish Waters had remembered that fact and confronted him about it.
Yeah, then denied in court that he went anywhere near them. Weirdly, on police body cam at the scene he asked the same officer, twice, about 10/15 mins apart, if they were dead. Like he needed confirmation. Or reassurance.
Reallyyyyy uncomfortable with the single panelist view. It's so nice to see the body language of everyone simultaneously and see you all communicating and connecting with each other. The single view 100% takes away for me.
I never thought about it like that. When anyone else that was close to him talks about Maggie and Paul, you feel sad for them. I don’t feel that way at all when AM talks about them. Wow
As my kids would say after we finished reading a book before bedtime, “One more!” This is such a great video; please do more on his testimony, particularly when the prosecutor is talking him through what he said and did while at the kennels.
Guys...the key to your success is the interaction, the relationship between the four of you. Split screen allows us to see that in action..it is so important. Please revert to the split screen format Scott. Your body language and reaction to each other is critical. Loving your work....Paul in UK
Guys what happened with the 4 Cámara screen 😢? Pretty Please put it back. Hopefully others agree with me, that seeing you all 4 at once it’s way better. I particularly enjoy also the reactions between you guys when you speak. Other than that great content like always 😊.
The grief during his tesimony was REAL (hence the lines) just NOT due to the loss of Paul and Maggie. It's been mentioned several times about how he didn't show grief lines/muscle when interviewed immediately after the murders but does now. I think this is because he didn't have grief at first. That night he thought he knew better than anyone how to handle it all and the people he needed to influence so that this day in court would NEVER happen... and he almost succeeded. NOW that he finds himself in court, he has true grief... over HIS losses... not over the people that died. The one place he's always been successful is in court... and often in that particular building. He's lost his reputation, law firm, money, freedom... but most of all, his own sense of success/power/superiority. To a man like Alec Murdaugh that hits him much harder. THAT is what he is grieving and why those wrinkles have appeared.
Love all you guys. Please keep your format the same. …meaning, show all four of you as you give your opinions . I enjoy watching your reactions to what the “speaker” is saying.
I love you guys. Thanks for another great show. I prefer when all four of you are visible - one at a time when speaking is not as interesting because I can’t see others reactions. Thanks again for your show.
It’s impossible to “unintentionally” delete phone data. You click delete and receive a prompt that asks you, “are you sure you want to delete this?” So you have a second click to delete. That’s intent.
Can you imagine what it must have been like for Maggie if she argued with Alex or asked him something he didn't want to answer? She must have been so exhausted from dealing with him for so long.
Can you imagine what it was like for Maggie to see her son like that, and then get chased down by her own husband as he .urdered her and she knew what was going on.
Just hope the jury discerns rightly....and sees with their spiritual eyes...and understands with their spiritual ears.... And makes the right verdict.... REMEMBER O.J.....
I don't care for the new set-up with each individual onscreen as they present. I enjoy viewing the faces of all the guys reacting to one another's comments.
I enjoy y’all show more when all four screens are displayed at the same time. It’s nice to watch the other 3 watch and listen as one of you are talking. Ya know what I’m saying? One person at a time takes some of the entertainment away..
Justice has been served! He got life! You guys were right. Alex Murdaugh (Murderaugh) shed NO tears. A member of the jury sitting very close to him said Murdaugh's face was absolutely dry!!
Two strange comments Alex made: “Whoever did this them HATED Paul” and “Whoever did this probably thought about it for a very long time” You sure did Alex.
Please consider returning to old format. The chemistry and interaction (laughter, nods of agreement etc.) is what brings the audience in. This new look is four experts and a murderer period. Don’t change a winning game. Thank you for your consideration.
I like when I can see all four of you at the same time because then when I rewatch I like to see all of your reactions to each other. When something hits each of you you all react differently. Scott’s face reads his thoughts so well, Marks little epiphanies, Chase and Greg are pretty stoic but sometimes you can catch Greg when he looks like he wants to say something I think Chase is the only one who I have a super hard time catching his reaction to everyone else.
Good point. Same with the stealing millions from his firm, same with the drug use. It’s just the same with this murder. He’s going to make sure that they prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he did it. Only then, will he admit.
Please go back to the four square format. That was such a great USP of your channel and I love being able to see your individual reactions - including body language - when you are each taking it in turn to speak.
I cry easily when I watch someone genuinely sad or grieving, and I feel nothing but revulsion when I watch Alex distorting his mouth and tongue jutting, trying to summon tears. Much like watching Amber Heard with her histrionics as she tried to summon tears. IMO both are phony, both are narcissists, both are pathological liars, both are users and both are evil.
I'm not defending Alex but I do that when I'm in shock or upset. I didn't see any of the same things as Amber Heard, I did see tears but he has tiny eyes and a big forehead so not as easy to see but there's been tears, I've watched the full trial. I just wish SLED hadn't made such a mess of this investigation
I agree Phyllis! I cannot stomach it! He is obnoxious! And when he let his snot just run from his nose onto the desk - playing to the camera! A person knows when there is not running out of their nose.
yup, the tongue jutting is disgusting. Someone in jail must have told him to do that if he can't conjure any real tears or sniffles. He is disgusting on so many levels it's unbelievable. He makes Harvey Weinstein look marginal.
What has been telling for me throughout this whole ordeal is, not once have I heard Murdaugh say anything about law enforcement not looking for Maggie and Paul's killer/s. I remember when my sister was murdered many years ago, the first coherent words I said to the police were "why are you wasting your time with me, why aren't you out in the streets looking for my sister's murderer?!" (and they knew who he was.) He never seems to be engaged with his 'loss'. He seems to constantly try to distance himself by speaking as if he were narrating a story rather than relating memories. Everything about his demeanour just seems wrong to me. Thanks so much guys for your erudite analysis. It's much appreciated.
So sorry for your loss as well. Totally agree with you. Even Maggie’s sister said how he never, not once, mentioned finding the killer(s). Just about clearing Paul’s name.
He was also very sure about the Sheriff signing off on getting blue lights in his personal vehicle. But they got the Sheriff on the stand today - and he said he NEVER discussed that with Alex. Alex is a compulsive liar. Ummm - No!
What's up with the camera set up? I don't really like that it changes like this. I love watching the 4 of you together, now that's just strange, I prefer seeing your reactions, it seems more legit and entertaining to watch.
It's nice that you've tried a different set up, but part of the fun is missing. I watch this just as much for the interplay between you guys as the content you so skillfully explain. The individual screens makes the whole thing seem colder, somehow. Please go back to the four-split screen. Your personalities gel so well, and it's a pleasure to watch that. Perhaps you could combine the two styles.
Chase is so right about the missing regret. Anyone who loses a loved one goes through the "if only" conversation ..... certainly if his story was true he would be beating himself up ... if only I had gone to the kennel etc I have NEVER heard a statement of regret come out of his mouth
Yes- for a good example of that, see Maggie’s sister’s testimony. How regretful she was that she told Maggie to go to Moselle when Maggie told her Alex wanted her to go to Moselle. She thought she was helping her sister support her husband.
Watching you on the screen individually doesn't work nearly as well imo compared to watching the 4 way interaction between each of you. Now, it just lacks something and the 4 way split screen was so unique, original and huge drawcard.. I'm not explaining this well... Anybody else know what I'm saying??....
We all like to watch the 4 of them together, because it implies that we're all here together in the subject. Separately, it's just some guy telling us about how he feels.
I like your new format, however, I do wish that at some points you would show all 4 of you at once because it is informative to see the reactions of the whole team during the discussion.
These cases are so baffling and so scary to me, because there's literally no remorse. I noticed that Alex used the word, "hurt" instead of killed, as in, "I would never hurt Maggie or Pau Pau." He used it again when he said that he would never intentionally hurt them.
