Hello Friends,
This is my latest trip to Halduparao FRH(Forest rest house) where i am exploring this new and untouched zone.
In this video i am doing a podcast with forest front line staff (Forest guard). I am understanding the facilities and services received by them.
In this trip i am going to share the details of flora and fauna of this zone. We will review the landscape and facilities in FRH.
Halduparao FRH built in 1892 is located at a distance of 50km from Kotdwara. The entry is through Vatanvasa gate followed by a 10 km drive on a forest road. It is located on the right bank of Palain river at an elevation of 385m, giving visitors a panoramic view for the river and the forests nearby. The FRH is over 100 years old. However the new building has been build for tourist to stay. The wilderness of entire location is awesome. The Palain (Sonanadi/ Golden river) river flows just near to FRH. The small watch tower at FRH premises gives you complete eye view of river. You can see most of animals drinking, gazing, playing around Palain (Sonanadi/Golden) river.
How to Reach: Firstly you have to reach Kotdwar city, which is well connected with road and Train network from all major stations including national capital Delhi. The Gypsy is mandatory to reach Halduparao FRH, however you can take your own vehicle till Vatanvasa Gate and park at entry gate. Gypsy (Jeeps) are provided for transfer and jungle safari from Kotdwar city.

Again dhaval jee, people like Mr. Mani have spent their lifetime in jungles but still do not know that Tigers cannot see red color. Why experts from outside (country) always know better. Inko padhane wala koi nahin.

Hello Virender sir, thanks for sharing this point. I would add and say infact entire cat 🐅 family like most mammals, are dichromats. They have just two types of functioning color receptors in the eye, meaning they are red & green blind. They struggle to distinguish between green tones and red-orange tones.😊

First of all, thank you so much ma'am for thinking on this. But unfortunately, these ppl don't have smartphones, so they don't use gpay or paytm. Maybe when you visit them in person then you can offer some help. 😊🙏
