Totally love his strait up attitude. Ask a question get a dam answer. Very interesting man and talent to say the least. Love the cover artwork and cant wait!!!!
Really loving Ace’s latest wig. It’s full looking, natural colour. Also cool to know Anton plays on a few tracks on this new release. Also, he has continued the tradition of allowing his girlfriend to sing backing vocals. I like that one from a few years ago “This one’s for Rachel”. Some other space related tune.
I personally think this ranks among one Mr. Frehley's most successful and commercially appealing LP's. Steve's production plus Ace's and some of Steve's guitars blend well with the band and make for a powerhouse that is both topical and melodious. I think what some people subjectively perceive as simplicity is in fact a deep respect for melodic structure that Mr. Frehley has always respected, as made clear by his "Origins" work. He is quite capable of invention and expanding on a tune, but the basic structure is never lost in improvisation or wild or inappropriate rhythmic approaches.
Looking forward to this record, sounds great so far, still hoping for a third record as a trilogy to the ‘78 solo and Anomaly records, with Anton, no offense to Ace’s other great drummers, just a certain chemistry when Ace was in that same vibe for both of those records.
@MorGuitarz I'm not a "professional musician" like Ace supposedly is, so there's no comparison. Most of his songs are garbage, just like his playing for the past 30 years. And you still didnt answer my question: why does he always play like shit? I wouldnt pay $5 to see this bozo
@@MorGuitarz You guys with that whole "let's hear songs you've written" comeback are bozos who aren't too bright. I'm a music fan, and that's all the qualifications I need to say that his stuff is mostly mediocre garbage. I'd be surprised if it sells 30,000 copies. Numbers don't lie, my friend
@@JokersWild70 If you can't make your way around a fretboard, you're 100% UNQUALIFIED to assess someone's acumen of playing guitar. Sorry music fan... you're wrong
His guitar playing has suffered greatly in recent years. Alcohol and drug abuse have left their mark. It is now difficult to bear live. Fortunately, you can straighten a lot of things out with Pro Tools. I think the new CD will contain a handful of good songs.
Yeah Ace, I'm sure its an absolute masterpiece. The next Led Zeppelin IV, right? Please. BTW, that wig suuuuuuuuuuucks almost as bad as New York Groove
His solo record with Kiss was solid....he has done good stuff but it's just inconsistent. He's not a guitar wizard but a lot of people like the simplicity in his playing and style.
