I’m starting to believe one of the ESPN commentators intentionally made that up so people wouldn’t talk about another record Angel broke. Saying Yolanda had a double double in that game was an outright lie and only caused confusion.

Agreed. They keep bringing up you know who when mentioning the All Star MVP Arike as well. Arike put in work mostly without any of her assists at all. Angel did her thing with the odds stacked against her. Did you see her score while being covered by both Aja Wilson, Briana Stewart, and a third player from the USA team under the basket??? Don't want to hear any excuses about how you know who gets covered by defense. Angel had two MVP's and a third vet guarding her and she still was scoring. Now watch her visit Paris and have mad celebrity status just being a spectator..

This should pretty much sew up the Rookie of the Year award for Reese. Yes, her and Clark have both achieved records, but Reese has achieved more of them. At the end of the day, you have to ask who has made the bigger impact at their position. Reese is a small forward, and Clark is a shooting guard, so it's not fair to judge them by the same metrics. Reese dominates her position in a way that Clark does not. Reese had a +26 differential against the Aces, which is just crazy. Clark going to the bench does not affect the Fever in the least because they have two solid scorers in Mitchell and Boston. Reese can't sit for that long because her presence on the court contributes too significantly to the Sky's success. Clark does not lead guards in ANY major, statistical categories, while Reese leads the league in rebounding, which is quite a feat because A'ja Wilson has been the WNBA's top rebounder. Reese is more dominant at her position of forward than Clark is at her position of guard. If anyone disagrees, please go and look at the BASKETBALL stats. I had to put "basketball" in quotations because Clark stans love to use irrelevant (and by irrelevant I mean stupid) numbers like attendance, merch sales, and viewership as if those numbers are actual real basketball stats. If it doesn't fall under points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks, IT IS AN IRRELEVANT NUBMER, and no one cares about it except Clark stans. I felt the need to put that disclaimer, but I'm sure that there will be at least one stan who ignores it.
An exhibition game doesn't sew up ROTY. Clark has Rookie of the month for May and July and Reese has it for June. It's undecided. Clark is also a PG/combo guard, not an SG. Also, Clark plays 38 minutes a game so she hardly ever goes to the bench.

Again, Reese dominates at her position in a way that Clark does not, which is a big factor. And Clark is NOT a point guard; she is a SHOOTING guard. Clark looks for her own shot way too much to be considered a point guard. A point guard would be looking for Boson down low and making sure that she eats. If Clark was a true point guard, Boston would average 25-30 points a game. However, because Clark loves to shoot so much, which is why she is a SHOOTING guard, Boston doesn't get all the touches that she should because Clark is too busy dribbling the air out of the ball, so she can launch a 40-foot shot. I don't know who thinks that a 40-foot shot is a high percentage shot when you literally have Aaliyah Boston standing UNDER the basket, but I will tell you that it is not. Clark has ALWAYS been a shooting guard. Go back and look at her Iowa games. Clark is literally jogging the ball up the court, going to an open spot, and letting it fly. That is what a SHOOTING guard does; they SHOOT. A POINT guard facilitates the offense and makes sure that the first and second options eat. Clark doesn't realize that she is the third option and dribbles too much looking to get separation for her own shot (which is why she leads the league in turnovers and broke the rookie record for turnovers in a single-season, and the season isn't even over yet). That is NOT what a point guard does. That is what a SHOOTING guard does.
It's not even close, just look at the stats. You could swap Cardoso with Reese and there would be no difference, remove CC and the Fever offense fall apart. Chicago is on pace to have a worse record than last year, while Indiana almost has as many wins as they had all last season. Reese's only chance is if CC completely implodes after the break, but that's not happening. Caitlin will start knocking down those 3's after the rest she needs and then it's all over.
Excuses excuses talking about rest. Angel Reese came straight from college also to playing in the WNBA. She was supposed to be this female Steph Curry and is shooting 32% from the three. Angel came in dominating and averaging a double double as a rookie. She is 38th in usage rate and is only averaging 3 pts less.
@@101CamourTv Angel doesn't shoot 3s from her legs. She doesn't even really shoot 3s. The Sky didn't have the same crazy schedule the Fever had to start the season either. They do have the harder second half of the season so we'll see what happens. Clark is not the female Steph Curry. They only said that due to how deep she can shoot 3s. Clark is more like Nash or Stockton but with Curry's range.
That’s a fact! Cheryl miller didn’t believe in Angel abilities. She had no plans to play her for even the minutes she did. That’s why she had her on 3rd tier. Says a lot. But as usual! Reese's quality of play is not close to matching the level of her hype and as a result, Reese is becoming less marketable plain and simple: 1) the lowly Sky are 11-22 and have lost 7 in a row and are reeling. What consumer wants to devote valuable time and/or money to a Sky team or player like Reese that is collapsing and looks to have thrown in the towel for the season? 2) Reese's horrifically low shooting percentage, the lowest in the league, had become a dirty secret that the woke media was suppressing and covering up to protect Reese's reputation. However that negative Reese story has been exposed and has finally gotten out to the public 3) It is becoming evident from a cursory view of social media that Reese has become a very polarizing figure online and that there is growing dislike and negativity towards her. No podcast can counter this.
