This should be included tbh, that or significantly cheaper. Robot vacuums 15 years ago had better nav tech built in. You can get a $80 vac with more tech built in. The fact that this ACS costs $250 is ridiculous. Same with the other modules. Why put in the find my droid module for $200 when you can drop in an airtag or Samsung tag in it for $20. The magnetic strip boundary also kinda useless for the price. If you are already running the boundary wire just run that for stuff.

@Scatch85_YT @Scatch85_YT thanks for your comment! Yes, unfortunately that's true. The additional modules are not cheap. But this is probably intentional, as it naturally brings in additional money for the manufacturer....:/ The idea with the Samsung or Apple AirTag is really not a bad one. However, the advantage of the Find my Landroid module is that you get a mobile connection through this module, which allows you to control the robotic lawnmower remotely even without Wi-Fi. 😊👍🏼 Best regards

$25 bucks for 5 wire splices. oddly i have bought several works 2 in 1 kits with weed wacker and leaf blocker with two batteries for under $100. i'm also curious on profit margins for the landroid. it's simple enough i 'd think they aren't bad OR maybe not seems like they are trying to recoup costs or something with landroid accessory prices so sky high. the garage is over $100 for a plastic lid.

@@cdoublejjtrue the ACS is a necessity IMHO for active backyards it works well for the range it was designed to. But I personally have buyers remorse as I got this unit earlier in this year. With the new Landroid vision by the time you add in the other modules that the Vision already has you are at the same price as the newer unit that solves problems this model has with the rear wheels etc. I used stick on 1/2oz tire weights all over the back of mine adding 4lbs over the wheels lol.

@@cdoublejjI did end up getting the off limits kit as well for temporary use in certain areas but it jumps that a lot of times if there is any slope at all.

The ACS is worthless along with the mag strips. They simply are very unreliable and create safety hazards.

@@substancesubstance5836 I've had my ACS for about a month now. I have 3 fixed obstacles in my yard. A mature Maple tree, a large decorative rock and large cauldron (movable fire pit). It sees the cauldron and avoids it just like the video. The ACS doesn't see the tree or the rock about 98% of the time. Thankfully for me, I bought it specifically so it wouldn't hit the fire cauldron because it would make a loud noise (it sits on a small concrete pad) so it serves its purpose. But if I bought it to avoid trees, I would be very disappointed. I would recommend if you have fixed obstacles in your yard, it would be cheaper and more reliable to use the fixed wire method to fence them off.

The ACS and mag strips simply don’t work all the time. I don’t know why. I have stopped using the Worx Landroid for 2024. I have ordered a Luba2 which I believe (fingers crossed) is a better product.

@tomwar4564 No, unfortunately this is not possible. As soon as the cable is interrupted or the charging station runs out of power, for example, the robotic lawnmower stops. Unfortunately, it cannot move with the ACS module. :/ Best regards
