I had a PK50 in the late 80's in Italy.. modified to 181cc .. motorcycle carburetor, sprint muffler, 125 gear and 4 disc clutch .. can't remember how fast it was .. I always had problems with the carabineri and polizia always chasing my friends and I .. later on I moved to the USA ... I miss those days .. the Vespa is no fun without gears and clutch

Da ragazzini, un mio amico aveva una Vespa 50L, appartenuta ai suoi genitori. Per prima cosa, sostituì il manubrio con quello a farò quadrato della Special. Da lì in poi, la Vespa venne più volte modificata, sia esteticamente che nella meccanica. Nell'ultima configurazione, montava 135 Zirri da competizione, carburatore 34 a valvola piatta, 27 a denti dritti, ed il favoloso scarico sotto la pedana. Potenza di circa 34 cavalli, ed oltre 170 km/h, al banco rulli. Poi, quel sound metallico dello scarico, era favoloso. Tutto questo preambolo, per dire che la tua Vespa è preparata magistralmente. Ogni complimento, è del tutto scontato. Coppia incredibile, ed un tiro nell'allungo strepitoso! In più, la tua guida è molto accurata: cambiate precise, e scalate perfette. Questa è passione.

Quest'estate però un amico mi ha fatto provare la sua vespa 125 elaborata, cazzo che spettacolo. E' veramente divertentissima da guidare, soprattutto sulle strade di montagna con molti tornanti.
