Vespa PX 200 with KTM 250sx engine Testride. I keep it low in RPM with acceleration in this stadium, so i don't have an autowheely. And It's not a km/u gauge , but a RPM gauge...........................................................
I want my vespa auto to manual with new extra loud bass exhaust with increased speed performance and fat wheels with new rims and don't forget the body color Matt Black !!!
i was once the proud owner of a 1982 PE200 tuned and a rebuilt to 225 cc with a POLINI KIT , all transfers ,inlets and outlets opened and profiled by TAFFSPEED in Cardiff ! Was to my knowledge the first ever racing Vespa built as till then all tuners at that time believed you could not tune Vespas like you could Lambrettas ! Well i can tell you this scooter went like shit of a shovel and i regularly rode back from London on the M1 with my chick on the back heading back home on the M1 ! Always on the outside lane and i can tell you we used to surprise many a motorist going past them like we did ! They were the days !!
Old guy near me had a lambretta SX200 if my memory serves me right, he was half dead and half alive and used to flood it could never get it going. Exit friendly neighbour,,, ME,,,, I used to change the plug and get it going give it a proper clear out over a few days 😎 bloody thing flew was most impressed, my mates who had motorbikes weren't when I left em behind 🤗
Taff speed were never in Cardiff..and norrie kerry was tuning and racing vespa,s before taff speed ever came along ..so you got your facts very wrong ...wonder why
Congrats on getting done and ready to roll, she looks really nice and she runs just as nice. The small tires worry me but I know that you know what you’re doing, thanks for the video and please try to not drop her and ride safe.
Dafuq! This is the most crazy video I have ever seen on YT. A 250 crazy engine on a humble Vespa. Man, when you over speed about 150 km/h on the scoot, no one believe that saw a very fast Vespa.
One thing that will always make me think that someone is a bad rider, is that they just completely seem to forget that they turned on their turn signal, and after 2 seconds, they've completely forgotten about it, so they just keep riding around with their blinker on. How low of an attention span can you have to forget something that basic after a few seconds. To me, it seems like some people just have money to buy bikes etc, but don't actually know how to ride them, nor have the mindset or mental capacity to ride safely. It's like going to the bathroom and walk out with your pants down because you forgot that you pulled them down. How can you forget what you just did xD Cool thing you built here. Must be fun to ride :)
Then a Busa passed by, thinking this Vespa was a sleeper. After getting smoked, he was right. ....well that scenario won't happen, but GOD I would love to see their smile when they fuck with the wrong Vespa.
Has this PX got some for of paddle-shift gear change, as l didn’t see any clutch lever in action and the gear change had a very quick take-up. Sounded brilliant and appeared to be very quick.
Great camera work. You showed what the scooter looks like before you took it for a ride. You know how hard that is to do for a lot of people? I see a lot of riding videos and I'm like, yeah, that's cool but what the hell does it look like??
That gauge is actually a tachometer, not a speedometer. When stopped, at a light, the tach is hovering about one-fourth of the scale. At start up, I noticed the red gauge needle was at zero before starting.
Lots of work, I assume. Careful driven, thumbs up. I know the original engine very well and a wheelie could happen even with that easily. We drove the thing nearly 50.000 kms, the first thing being broken was the kickstarter :)
Wow,gear sudah tidak pulas² dihandle gayezzzz... nexttttttttttttttttttttt, selalunya vespa jika dibuat racing Dada depan dikemekkan menjadi tajam...baru angin lepas gayezzzz
Is it still a scooter or bike with 10 inch wheels. A mate put a KDX 200 top end on a PX. They fit lammy GP cases as well. Liquid and air cooled. Air cooled easiest and some say best conversion. No pipes or rad etc..
Front disc maybe.. The seat is gonna be replaced when i have painted the vespa ( KTM Red Bull Herlings colors) but that is gonna happen in wintertime. There is nothing i really can do about the gear ratio. And its fast enough for me😁
@@ktmgek It all sounds like a great plan, especially the paintwork. Very fitting. Re the speed and gearing, I was looking at the red needle and thinking that's a bit slow, but then after another watch, noticed the blurred speedo. :) And just between you and me, if you were on a race track, what speeds would you you be hitting? Hypothetically ,of course!
interesting, how did you get the motor in? I once helped a friend building his Zündapp 250 RD LC, out of a Zündapp 50ccm scooter. they are more like lammys with a tube frame and the motor in the middle and chain drive, which is easier to fit a big engine in, but with Vespa there is not much space when you keep the frame, tank and the rear wheel as they are. And the welding on the motorside panel suggests also, the motor is on the right , like original ? Nice Build Ride Free Ride Safe
