Not for me I'm afraid. I like to keep original hems. I would add a navy band, slightly,:stiffened or ruched under the bustline, with a few gathers on the top piece for a better fit 😊

Save yourself all that cutting and just add the new cloth underneath. Gives the shirt a layered look that looks more fashionable.

Not everyone has access to go to stores, and sometimes it's cheaper to use scrap fabric to fix a problem. It's also better for the environment

Yes, I so agree with you there’s too much pettiness in the world. We just need to take what people offer and be grateful. I learned to sew as a child, but I have not sewn in years and I really appreciated this video so take it for what it’s worth someone was trying to help their people out there who don’t know how to do this this is helpful to them. You don’t need to trash what she’s doing. Thank you for standing up for her video. I agree with you!!! 😊❤

I sew quite a bit, and I like how she made the bottom, adding slits in the side make it much more forgiving than trying to measure precisely how much fabric to add. Especially with knits, that tend to stretch. I also really liked the opening on the sleeves. This would be an easy video to follow along with!
