Corrosion on pins is not caused by rain water! Check your coolant temperature sensor for corrosion causing coolant to capillary through wiring harness to ecu
Had a used ECU installed/ then was locked out from starting vehicle after attempt by tech PLEASE HELP...dealer wants me order entire dashboard cluster/keys/lockset & ECU, then re-program....isn't there a way to unlock it & re-set it through the software ODIS...I don't understand how the veh locks out both the original ECU now OR how the replacement will not work....veh starts/stops....repeatedly with the replacement that was purchased from a salvage yard. I need help. Originally, the Catalytic Convertor was stolen in Feb 2024, replaced, car ran fine, then check engine light came on, before inspection due end of June. Was informed by mechanic ECU was bad - needed replacement, then the aforementioned has since occurred. End result non functioning PASSAT. I NEED YOUR HELP BADLY

When you replace ECU with used one, ODIS asks you: "Which ECU is currently installed? NEW / OLD" ... If you use USED ECU, do you have to select "OLD"? Thanks.
i have the same problem p2015 in my Passat cc CBAB. Me i changed All this parts to New parts. * The intake manifold New. * The EGR valve New. * V157 New. All this parts but the code error P2015 still on . I delete it with VCDS but After 2km returns again !!!!! ;(( ;( What i Can Do in this case for P2015. Can you help me please . Thank you Regards
