It's important to diagnose and address these issues as soon as possible, as ECU or control module problems can cause further damage to a vehicle and potentially lead to unsafe driving conditions. Thank you for sharing.
This video could have been half the length without the silly jokes and chit chat. I for one am not in the mood for it when I've potentially got a massive bill coming. It's just inappropriate 🤷♀️🙄
This video was quite useful in describing the symptoms of ECU failure in a straightforward and concise manner for someone who isn't very knowledgeable with automobile maintenance. Well done!
This video provides valuable insights into identifying common signs of ECU or control module failure, empowering viewers with knowledge to effectively diagnose and address potential issues.
I was really going through something similar with the engine with the issue of slow acceleration and strange noises and I can really know where the problem is going.
Couldn't say it better myself bro. Not only the price of these new cars but the interest these people pay for them is ridiculous. 2000 S10 4.3L and I ain't selling it. Be cheaper to fix and put a new motor/ trans in it then it is to get anything else new.
How many analogies did this guy use in One video, its like running a marathon in sandals it's like a marriage where one you is not listening ,it's like being interrupted...it's like........??
It is a pleasure to find this type of content, thank you very much for this help. I was really going through something similar with the engine with the issue of slow acceleration and strange noises and I can really know where the problem is going.
Hi watching from NAMIBIA my BMW 320 d just suddenly cut out no start at all the starter don't start on key but when you wire the starter straight from battery it rotates engine but no start on instrument panel app
I’m having challenges with my 2014 RX350 gearbox, it selects properly however when the vehicle gets hot, it would start malfunctioning, what must I do ? It was diagnosed with OBD2 with fault code P0877
My astra H shortcuts when I accidentally put a drew diver on the fuse box and everything is off and I checked all the relay and fuses they are ok and everything is off. The light and cluster is off What can be the problem
For me it's the ECU stand's for educated clue useless. 😅 If you don't have a diagnostic tester to tell you what is the things to check. You could have a lot of guess's to what is going on. I want to shoot my truck but it would be best to trade it in. 🤨First got to get it fixed to get there. 🤪 Just need one more good truck to last me. Three years later. Yeah! Sound familiar ladies. 🤣
no conectivity to the obd port, and no check engine light on then off on start up is the main way to know the engines not communicating with the cars computer. thanks again for my 96 jeep computer lastyear car computers exchange! i know its a little waiting period till you can program them and ship out now.
Sorry folks, but there's nothing to see here. To sum up 14 minutes of video: "If your car isn't running well, take it to a qualified mechanic." That's it. The video claims to teach you how to diagnose the problem, pointing at the ECM (the COMPUTER that manages the performance of nearly every electrical component in your car) when in fact the problems is much more likely to be a bad sensor, wire or connector! In fact, not one sentence of the video discusses actual DIAGNOSIS procedures, they simply tell you over and over again to take your car to a qualified mechanic, which is safe advice for them to give..... This channel is owned by a company that rebuilds ECMs, but nothing about that is mentioned in the video. Just buying and rebuilt ECM from them or any other company, without having done REAL diagnostics and identifying and troubleshooting the codes that the ECM stores, would be folly, as mentioned above. On the other hand, there are a few outstanding videos on youtube that will teach you how an ECM functions, and more importantly how to diagnose the wiring and connectors, as well as the sensors themselves to find the ROOT CAUSE of the problem, and fix THAT problem instead of throwing part after expensive part at your car until it hopefully runs better. Unfortunately that is how a large percentage of repair shops make their money. Educating yourself on how the ECM and other sensors accessories communicate and how to TROUBLESHOOT them is worth the time you spend learning, whether you effect the repair yourself, or use your newfound knowledge to keep your mechanic honest. Good luck to you all..... 😉

As someone who doesn't know much about car mechanics, this video was really helpful in explaining the signs of ECU failure in a clear and concise manner. Great job!
My car crank in the morning but not starting the engine. I push few time oil pedal while craking its start the engine difficulty. Only in the morning. After the whole day start with one crank. Can someone please help
I don't have much knowledge about car mechanics, so this video was a huge help in making me understand the symptoms of ECU failure in an easy and straightforward way. You did a great job explaining everything!
THE ECU, or Engine Control Unit, is a computer housed in the engine of vehicles since the mid-90s, in most cases, until today. Its appearance was justified by the industry's demand for vehicles with more efficient combustion in mechanical and ecological terms. This computer regulates some engine functions, such as working temperature, fuel injection, ignition, valve opening and closing; manages engine rpm, exhaust gas emissions, oxygen levels, and various other parameters for optimal engine operation. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE 100% REAL VIDEO THANK YOU SO MUCH
My truck died while driving now wont start at all but we was jumping the solenoid on the firewall to start it i wonder if that made it go bad but it was runnig on the road then died was already running do you think the starting it that way made it go bad the ecm..
Most of this is related to bad sensors and other components. The ECU is responding the way it should under those circumstances. Misleading, automated bunkum.
Very Good info ,much appreciated, my Buick Enclave has all the systems, new ECU on order, Thank you an yes would like to see more videos like that his one.
