Never realized this until I found your channel, but we're living in the golden age of pocket flashlights lol Them Keychain flashlights are pretty neat.
It would be cool (but probably impractical) for skillhunt (or anybody really) to make a universal magnetic charging system for the smallest keychain light to the biggest beam thrower in their lineup. That, and making it reversible so you could use any of your flashlights to give your phone anywhere from an emergency partial charge (from the keychain light) to several days worth (from a larger light you might keep in your bag). If anybody did that (and maybe some seasonal special edition colors or knurling patterns) they'd dethrone Olight for sure.
Why magnetic? If you want to have reverse charging, usb c is better option and definitely much cheaper. I'm not saying is impossible to do this. I'm just saying it's not necessarily the best idea for companies to do this from business standpoint.
@@wesolowskimatt If I had to guess, I'd say for better waterproofing than you can get with a rubber cap over the USB port. Fortunately there are now several excellent lights that have USB C powerbank functions likes those from Sofirn.
I'm coming from Zebralight. Specifically an SC700D. I was looking for a nice alternative. I am liking the M300. I will consider it at some point. Though, I am torn between the Nichia HIGH CRI variant or the Cree High CRI variant. I prefer, 5000k with High CRI.
Hey what's going on brother I am new to your channel but so far so good I love what I am seeing! So where do you usually purchase your flashlight from?? And how can I get the flashlight companies to send me some Free flashlights?? Well God bless you and your family and have a great evening!!
Skilhunt, olight fighter for sure... but deff eating thrunites lunch with these anesthetics and build quality. Not to mention, led emitter options. Thanks for the review. 👍🏼
that's it. I dont know. There's too many options. If it was cheaper (IDK) I'd choose the Nitecore you reviewed last time just because it's simple and I've seen a long term (2year) test with drop tests and all. I think it was the Nitecore but dude had another one with gummy USB hole that was flimsy and leaked or something.
I am liking the EC300 flashlight because of the red light it emits. I am not planning on buying one anytime soon, since I have to save my money for other things. However, if I had the money right now, I would buy one immediately soley because of the red beam option.
Skilhunt are more expansive but looks better, too. But Sofirn are perfectly functional, if you dont care that they dont look superpremium, they are the best choice.
