Went from having issues, like characters taking forever to load, and loading in as polygons first, as well as the streets not loading properly (invisible for long times, occasionally falling through because of it) to having a solid 60 fps, game looking more beautiful than ever, and overall a huge improvement on everything! Thank you so much!
I have a 3080ti... with Performance DLSS on 4k, I only get 40-50 fps with Ray Tracing on and pretty good specs. It plays very smooth and for a single player game, I can't complain, but no clue how people are getting 60+ fps on a 30 series.
Maby try lowering settings to 3k or one good way to gain stability if you don’t have much vram is lowering Texture quality (second option from the top) in the main menu to medium it helped me get rid of vram overload after playing for a while without really getting worse quality image
@@foukyfou8749 agree, hope it can meet everybody's expectations. They are selling it like it is magic, too good to be true... I really hope it is true and widely supported. It's a shame AMD has to help Nvidia out because Nvidia only offers frame generation the good stuff for the latest most expensive card they have...
Huge thanks men! I have i5 10 th gen and an RX 6600 with 16 GB RAM, previously I had 60 FPS in less populated spaces and during missions in buildings, but in the city I had around 40-50. Now I have 80 FPS almost everywhere and it never goes below 60!
PSA: in case you suffer from sudden crashes when saving or exiting the game, here are 2 things you can do. 1. Disable cross platform save inside the game menu 2. Set the Cyberpunk2077\bin\x64\Cyberpunk2077.exe file property to "run as administrator". Hope it helps, enjoy the game!
@@RogueSurgeTM - I can't say about Steam as I use the Epic Games launcher and Msi Afterburner overlay, but these changes fixed it for me, no crash since. I'd rather like to be able to play the game without crashing every 5 minutes, than care about steam achievements, :-)
This new 2.0 version of the game is VERY CPU demanding so heads up to anyone with an even slightly older CPU, these settings won't help you too much. Only Crowd Density helps your CPU significantly and even that is a relatively minor boost on low
@@dyingpentas yes u can notice a difference between 100 to 127 assuming u have 144hz or higher, but if it was 200 to 220 it would be a different story.
I was having frame rate issues with my i7 7700k due to CPU bottleneck (20 -25 FPS on almost lowest) and after changing settings for 3 days I found this video and I am now sitting at a comfortable 60 99% of the time. Dogtown is the only area where I have issues now and it is still way smoother than before. To anyone reading this I highly recommend you try these settings out
I built a completely new gaming setup to properly enjoy the new update 2.0., featuring a Ryzen 5 7500 F, 32 GB DDR5-6000 and a RTX 4070 (decent overclock). The heart of the system is a Gigabyte G32QC WQHD 165 Hz monitor with FreeSync Premium Pro (G-sync compatible). G-sync works really well on this display. My plan was to play the whole game with frame generation and proper path tracing, but I'll just use your optimized settings with some ray tracing and enjoy higher frames instead.
I’ve run Cyberpunk again today and noticed they made huge performance improvements lately! 4K @ 60FPS constant with path tracing on, DLSS on balanced and all graphics options @ max settings is a reality on the 4080 now! That’s huge!:)
Absolutely none of this worked. I'm getting an average of 19fps with a RX 6800. The weird thing is I use to get in the 60-70 range 1440P high settings. What happened, what changed? What I've noticed is only 60% of the GPU is being utilized. That's where the problem likely is I don't know how to fix it. All my other games run fine so this is unique to CP2077. BTW, the 19fps I'm getting strangely is playable. Have not seen that before. There is no stuttering UPDATE: Found the problem: Avast Antivirus. Affects other games as well. For instance, in COH2 Avast will cause reverberation of the audio so bad that the game is unplayable. Had to uninstall it and all is well.
Not sure if it's mentioned but in Display there's Nvidia Reflex thing, the latency option. Turning this off (it was auto set to on) fixed my entire performance. With it set to ON my GPU was utilizing about 40%, with OFF it's using 85%+. Went from messing about with all settings for hours and getting insane temps to just slapping everything onto ultra and playing no issues and everything nice and cool. Tested it a few times, and yeah, that setting really messed with my GPU.
Thanks a lot! I use your optimized preset and currently averaging between 60-80 FPS playing on a M27Q 1440p monitor plugged to my Legion 5 RTX 3060 laptop.
@derricksernadirector8307 Something is really skewing your performance for some reason. I think having 12GB RAM or RAM that doesn't have the same channels might be the problem. I'm not sure if this helps, but I currently have 2x8GBs of DDR4 3200Mhz in my laptop. I suggest doing some research if that's the case
Didn’t really change the fps at tweaked Medium settings and textures, but enabling FSR 2.1 made it look a whole lot better. i5 2500K @ 4.3GHz and Vega 56. Yeah, I didn’t expect it to run at all or be an unplayable 10 fps slide show, but the game was half price on Steam and I have no chill.
Nothing really changed from the fps. I have a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, Intel Core i7-9700KF CPU with 3.60GHz, 32GB RAM, 144 Hz Monitor and a ASRock B365M Pro 4 Motherboard. Even with the low optimized settings i have 50fps, i hope someone can help me
@@xxzenonionnex7658 1080p. I manage to find a Good playaple experience now with the right settings tho. I feel like my ryzen 5 2600 realy bottlenecks the System a but altho overclocked it at 3.9ghz. But Times ares difficult These days Gotta work with what you have :)
For reference on a 4070ti I'm playing with Path Tracing, Ultra settings, DLSS Balanced, Ray Reconstruction and Frame Generation. I would prefer DLSS Quality but the input latency becomes a bit much for my liking.
Well with a 4070ti on 1440p you would probably get around 40fps on your settings without FG. You should go for balanced and not quality. I got a 4080 and im playing on 3440x1440p with, path, dlss quality, rayre and FG. I can do that because i have 60fps all the time without FG and you shouldnt use FG under 50fps
i have a medium to high end pc, cant get more then 20 fps. i changed from low to high resolution and details no change, Fps is always 20-24 with every setting type. The game is always starting with 20fps even in the main menu. There is no fps limit i checked everything. This is the only game i have this problem. On my old poor system it is working fine. edit: it may have to do something withthe intel 13th series with P and E cores
your videos are incredibly professional. i never comment on youtube tutorials, but i never seen a guy who explains as smoothly/good as you. keep it up !
Can someone explain what is qualitied as a high end machine? I have a nividia 3060 I9 - 12900ks 32 gb ram 4800 MHz speed according to task manager. And seagate firecuda 520 1TB I do not have a good monitor (its only 60hz) but i should still be able to see a steady 60fps then right? When i am driving the fps drops down to 20-25 at worst.
You're literally amazing, thank you for this video, deserved well more views since it's such a well done video, more well done than those with more views.
THANK YOU. I’m usually skeptical about this kinda stuff but this legit shot me from 35 frames in the city outside to 60 and 90 inside buildings. CHEERS!
Thank you for this video. I’ve been wanting to play with ray tracing forever and it kept tanking my fps to an unplayable level. Following your guide I’m getting 70-75 fps with ray tracing enabled. Much appreciated!
Great video. Getting a solid 170+ fps with these settings on a geforce rtx 4080 super. Altough the game looks absolutely stunning with ray+path tracing enabled, the huge hit to performance just isnt worth it in my opinion. Thanks for the vid!
This guide is slightly out of date for certain settings, just use FSR/DLSS with no motion blur, and make sure you have the rest of your settings at wherever your rig can handle
Hello, those of you who started a new game when patch 2.0 arrived, your V gets that screen effect all the time when there is an error in the relic and V vomits, falls, gets sick. My game is like this, it's horrible to aim, I miss shots all the time if I'm not using smart weapons.
this helped me a ton , previously was hard to break 54 - 56 fps mark , now i get 68 - 71 , (5:48 using the recommended preset , mid) im on a broke boi RTX 3050(6gb 95W) Laptop , with Ryzen 7 7840.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Got the P.L DLC as a gift from my brother and was really disappointed my game was struggling to reach 30fps in dogtown, on my 3070Ti! Before, I could easily achive 40-50fps on ultra settings in base game areas. Anyways, I used the optimisted settings and easily achived a smooth 60fps so thank you so much! I think deleting old mods (or updating old mods) and possibly switching from window framless to fullscreen is what did it for me
I've managed to get 60fps 1440p with my 7th gen i7 & RTX2070 set up using your g-sync guide + this video. I don't know of that lines up well with the parts but I'm very happy with it. I just bought PL and this is the cleanest the game has run for me. You've earned a sub. Thanks
Thank you for this excellent video. Your final FPS stats at 11:10 are amazing! I'm using a Radeon RX 7900 XTX and turning Raytracing on halves my FPS, it's just sad how us Radeon users are continually screwed in the gaming world. Not getting FSR3 with this last update was a stomach punch.
Went to the same spot pointed my screen the same way. I was wondering why I was sitting at 83 FPS. While yours displayed slightly over 100fps (4080 vs 4090😂). Also AMD SMT at least in that spot/stationary scenario made no difference for me, 7900x cpu. Great guide. Note did this for patch 2.1
Just turning on Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling lost me 4 FPS on 3080ti and 5900x 64gb ram. i changed nothing else as my pc is already very well optimized. I just came here to see if there is something new I can try. This is in Cyberpunk in low settings 1080p as I have game configured this way for less heat and in turn less noise.
I’ll try this stuff out. I’ve downloaded the game yesterday and lowered all settings to the bare minimum and I still have latency issues on a high end PC. It’s frustrating because I’ve gotten really drawn into the story
What mirror/shadows/light/etc. settings do if i play with path tracing? Can i set some of it down if PT handles it? Or how does it work? I love playing with PT, just want a liiiiitle more fps to lower input latency from FG.
Even when i applied all the low preset settings i still get 20-40 fps avg. Something's not right with my laptop.. I have Ideapad gaming 3 with i5 11320H, 512SSD, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3050. I hear other people have 60-80 fps with low preset and same specs..
I have a R9 5900x and RX 7800XT and get around 100 fps but the image is so blurry when moving around. Free Sync 165hz monitor and nothing in this video helped. The fps went up some but its still unplayable. Even when I turn everything down to low neither the fps goes up or the blurry movement seems to go away. IDK how anyone is able to play this game
I was about to give up and just get it for my ps5, now I can play on my laptop at steady 38 fps, that was amazing! I will get it to ps5 eventually lol but when it's cheaper.
can u reply to this at all? i downloaded the game a month ago, ur vid came out 5months ago, n ur saying to reinstall, do i have to do that to if my nvida thing was already up to date ?
i have a 7900xtx, i was getting 120 fps 2k ultra but i felt like 20fps, i dowonloaded the game again and now runs perfect 2k ultra 144 with the presets you gave and everything feels so smooth, thanks
is the windows gpu hardware acceleration only good for windows 11 or is it good for 10 users as well? i'm running windows 10, amd 5600x with stock cooler, 2070 mini lol
Great, it helped me adjust certain aspects, even my 13 year old computer, and the graphics card is the 1060 GTX 6GB, I get those 60 frames, although in spaces with a lot of intensity it drops to 45-50 frames, so I adjust everything You mention, and I can upload some more effects to ultra, I limit it to a constant 30 fps and thus be able to put ultra quality. Works great, thank you!
Ngl I run a 3060 with a ryzen 7 5800X3D and these setting changes (inclusing turning on DLSS (no frame generation)) only upped my frames by 5. (From highest settings to this) Any suspicions why?
Sick, thank you. Playing at 4k and thought I already had good settings but I must have missed something (think it was the fact that CP2077 isn't truly full-screen like you said). Anyways, going through your settings, and now I'm at 95-100 fps, up from mid 60s. Graphics look identical!
I use 2 different systems for Cyberpunk. I have been sitting my self in the settings, due ive seen some issues on both system. One is Intel I7 latest gen with 4070 1080 and 16gb ram, where i see some odd stuttering every 3-4 seconds. Second system is a 5800X3D with a 4090 and 32gb Gskill ram on liquid cooling and 4k 138hz oled. I was seeing issues with the new feature of the path RT, where the picture had major ghosting and grain in the picture. So i turned it off, and the graphics was way cleaner and sharper, also with a pretty good increase. I have not solved the Intel system issues yet, with the stuttering. Going to sit down with that system and see if i can sort it. Its fine, until something happends. I also noticed graphical glitches on both systems. Flickering etc. HDR mode did not work on the 4090 setup, even i did put it on screen and windows. Not sure why that is. Not have had to much time testing and problemshooting
I used the max preset on a 4080, 13900k and 32gb ram. Ray Tracing with all options on (though mine only shows 3 options) and I get 85fps average with 77fps minimum at 4k.
i have rtx3050 (75 watt) laptop, cyberpunk is running dramatically bad like 15-20 fps even on lowest settings while other games are pretty ok, i tried mamy things to fix it like changing power plan etc, any ideas why is that? someone has same problem maybe?
im having input lag and none of the setting seem to help ive already reinstalled my keyboard drivers and software but nothing seems to work. got any ideas what could couse this?
I still have issues. I have a 3070 Ti, and I get ~70fps running on everything from 720p to 1440p, it doesn't seem to care (probably not the gpu I guess), but I have a ryzen 9 3900x, so it shouldn't be that either... Really weird. The GPU utilization is
Doesnt Native Resolution look MUCH better than the "frame generation"? Because FG reduces from 4k to 1080p and then upscales artificially. I dont know man, and advice? I run on a 4090 RTX and I want to have the best result in quality
