Have you ever seen in your nozzle check print cyan mixed in with magenta. I have a brand new l1800 and I do the nozzle check the last two rows are cyan when they should still be magenta. I've done print head cleaning and still have a couple of cyan pieces missing. That is near the top of the check. Thanks
Cleaning to the head is only for when you need it, that's why you need to do nozzle check. If nozzle check is good you no need to clean head. You can change dampers if they no longer hold the ink or get clog really bad.
I was having issues with black ink in my yellow prints. Looking at the head and dampers it looked like the black is leaking or something. There was black around the yellow nipple on the print head. Cleaned it up and replaced the black damper with an extra that was sent with the printer. Now I can not get ink into the damper. I have tried with a syringe and printing purge sheets. How can I get my black int to work?
