Nice job, bro. I installed old school vents from a LeBaron on mine. Don't it just break your heart to cut into a good hood? Lol. I had problems with TPS sensor and water damage, so I took the rubber distributor cover off the old style 5.0 mustangs and wrapped it over and around the throttle body and sensor. A little bit of trimming and some zip ties and it works killer. Consider that if you're on the beach alot. Happy wheeling.
Jeeps never had any over heating issues.. the temps before and after pretty much the same. But, the vents definitely let the heat out, faster cooldowns , less heat soak.
Makes a noticable difference if you're creeping along with doors off, there's a huge cloud of heat from the tranny that pools up into the cab, louvers alleviate it somewhat
