"just because you call her mom, doesn't mean she sees you as her child", or "bhairava is hard on the outside but soft on the inside whereas ma kali is completely hard on even on the inside".... What nonsense! This is unnecessary fear mongering. She IS Almighty, in his destructive, fierce, feminine form (and I mean that in a good way, the sort of destruction that is necessary in life to bring in new things). The Almighty doesn't do anything without love and purity behind what he does. You just need to ask for guidance to get that love and for fuck's sake, be honest when you do! Be honest with her/with the Almighty about what your true feelings are when you ask for help. And yes, you're right; the things you ask should be psychological things, things that will either improve you or instigate soul growth and change or ask for psychological things like love, protection from negativity, healing and support and clarity. Not materialistic or superficial things. But i understand, that asking for these psychological things requires a certain level of aelf-awareness about your state of mind and brutal honesty about what is truly in your heart... which is the sort of self-awareness most people lack. I am mostly concerned about baali. Ma Kaali upasakkas have confirmed she will ask for blood on youtube videos. My preference is to worship Maa Kali in my heart, visualize doing the prayers there. It helps to see batuka with her.

If someone is practicing Bhairav Sadhna, they should visit a proper Bhairav temple at least once a year and stay there for 2 or 3 days to continue their Sadhna right? However, if there is a proper Bhairav temple few minutes away from home, so can we go there to practice Bhairav Sadhna?....
