We've had a lot of fun with Kambal in various Mardu Tokens lists. I built a rotation ready version with a few more rats and bats and had a blast on MTG Arena. There were some wild games in this one.

Your commentary on these is some of the best I've heard in the MtG squad I follow on this platform. Also, I know a lot of us say it, but thank you for being honest about it. *This may work, these may be better. We can try it and see.* No bs about ripping straight up the ladder into mythic. Just good magic and solid plays... (most of the time. 😅)

Oh, I definitely make some boneheaded plays. That's part of playing Magic, and even moreso part of playing different cards every day. But, I try to be honest on if I liked something, how a card felt compared to something else, and if I think something is better than something else. But I like putting up different options, even if they are slightly lesser than other options so folks can still get ideas of things they can do with their own decks. Thanks for the compliment, btw. :)

I made a similar Mardu humans deck tying together Anam Pakal, Kembal, and Teysa Opulant Oligarch. Fun even if it got stalled in diamond. For some reason I wish Teysa was a better card than she actually is.

The only thing about that reanimation deck would have been having squirming emergence in it so you could finally play against a deck that’s good with it

I've built, and played against, so many of them. They simply aren't consistent enough. Even people that like the deck have told me the same thing when I've asked them about it. I don't think it's about good/bad.

Little nezumi creatures usually work. Keep an eye on the creature type this standard too.
