This is a beautiful project. I have ordered some of your rice papers so am looking forward to receiving and trying them. I agree with you about doing lots of tutorials to sell your books. You don’t need to wear yourself out doing that. Your beautiful books sell themselves. If you have one you just automatically need to have another one….and another…. You come across as a very genuine, kind , generous person,not someone just trying to make money. Your joy of crafting and sharing your ideas and beautiful products really shows. Just keep being you. @hangingoutwithnanajacobson7582 I'm 74 she's really inspired me.i have made paper flowers before but never used water colour.i surprised myself when I used them.last time I used water colour was at 15 when I passed my school leaving examination in art.i only had to copy art from display put out and painted it as I thought too.i was surprised when I passed.i have always been artistic but never thought it was good enough.but now after inspiration from marta I am surprising myself.fairys in bloom is beautiful book with added extras and Christmas fairys is brilliant especially for card making. I used to feel ill all time but now I love diong my craft.uk

When you designed your books.you really thought of all of us.everything in books match.no matter what we are diong.i have been a beginner getting so much better because of you marta.even used water colour.but main thing i purchased your books so all the contents match.for someone who is only on pension.its everything to me.i cant afford to go to designer to designer.with your books fairys the flower book there is everything mix and match.got your two new ones coming.i am writing a book about my life in 50 s from valleys in south wales but before end i have to include you my insparation.of course i dont know if i have to have your permission to mention.the lady who is giong to put my book in order will let me know legal aspect marta.but you have changed my lonely life.thank you
The Christmas fairies looks wonderful....love what you are doing & giving inspiration to us all... but I do love other things you do ...would love to see a canvas with your Christmas fairies....also the other book looks like light Steampunk...my niece is having an 18th Birthday as Steampunk & I'd love to do a canvas for her....😊🥰

I would love a video on breaking blank pages! I loved the one you did about a year ago where you did 12 blank pages, then did a series of videos where you completed those pages. It would be wonderful if you did those specifically for your new books!!!

I love it! Thanks for focusing on the blending. I always need help with that. I bought that calligraphy white ink and it is the only ink that I can get splatters the way I want them. The new books look adorable! Also thanks for the new FB group.
So beautiful! I love the use of rice papers and your books all together because everything fits together so well. That's the beauty of your collection. Coming from the same artist everything makes sense! I can't wait to work with the rice papers myself. Hello Marta… your blending skills shine through in this page… amazing! I have 8 of your 9 previous collage books. I have been looking forward to a book of QUOTES that I heard you were working on and I will purchase it as soon as possible when it’s released…but… I’m not ready to think about Christmas layouts or cards just yet but the cover looks adorable. The steampunk kids book also looks fun although you may want to check out the girl in the pinkish coat in the upper right of the cover because her left eye/goggle doesn’t match the right side and it looks like she doesn’t have an eye so it’s a bit creepy. Hi Marta! It's nice to see you creating. I'm glad you had a nice vocation. That sounds like very hot weather, similar to what we had here in Canada all of July. That is a beautiful photo you added to the Collage, would be wonderful added to the collage book collection. My favorite glue stick is the scotch brand permanent. You have right attitude marta.when crafters get vidio out one after the other to sell thier books.loose viewers. I got tired of one lady I followed for years.because she continuesly videoed to advertise for a company she joined. The fun went out of it.also you feel abit resentful towards person as she was showing all things company was giving her and instead of being her old happy self.to me I can't speak for others but you hear it in the comments. Everything she used to help us with.changed to expencive products. I understand she had to make a living but now she's designer for stamperia.things many of her followers can't afford..she and we lost the person we fell in love with her cards etc. So please don't change. It's 105 degrees here in Oklahoma, but with the heat index its 113. I would LOVE to have 86 degrees!! Marta, I have been ordering Little Birdie clear gesso and haven't had any problems finding it here in the US. Do you know if they have stopped making it and I am just finding leftover supplies? I'm curious to hear what you might know about it because I prefer it so much more to others after comparison. I absolutely love the two new books coming out, they look so cute all the different characters and can't wait for them to be available! Or any new ones period. As for the comment about making more videos with the books, I find your thoughts about it to be quite sound and reasonable. You do you. You do what feels right for you and what is in your heart, not worrying about making sales. Most of us know that is not the kind of artist you are. For you it is also about inspiring others to do what feels right for them and to just do anything, like the five minute five supply challenge. I have commented before how you and your art have truly inspired me to just make art for the sake of making art and to find the joy in it and that is what I have been doing since I came across your first video about two or three months ago. I have been in my studio everyday doing something since then and I am just truly truly grateful to have found you. So please be true to yourself and do what your heart tells you about your art. It doesn't always have to be something with your collage books. There are so many things like your breaking a blank page that were a gamechanger for me that I use all the time. I leave comments a lot saying how thankful I am because I really am.
Awww Marta, this page looks amazing (again 😂) thank you so much for teaching us these techniques. I have all your books and would love to experiment with your ricepapers too, but I am really afraid to buy them 😔😥 2 weeks ago I bought 3 simple stencils from the UK and the taxes + shipping together were more than the price of the stencils… it was a big big and financial painly disappointment, and now I’m afraid to buy abroad ever again 🥺😢😭 So happy that I could buy your books without extra costs via Amazon 😍
I am very sorry to hear about your experience. UK is outside European Union this is why you had those taxes. I am in Ireland, we are in EU so there is no taxes or any extra charges. Also over the years I have been shipping from my store all over the world I never heard anyone paid anything extra. yes, it is 2.5e per page. This is pretty standard price for rice papers if you will look at other brands. Plus I really think my papers are unique and special, you will enjoy every page in the set and those would be money well spent. How many times you got a paper pad for 5$ or 10$ but if you will be honest with yourself, you didn't use half of it or maybe none ? How many supplies you have around that are collecting dust ? My new Amazon books and new rice paper sets are truly thought through products. I did my absolute best in order to create products that will be loved and used a lot. Also this is printed in Europe not China. The cost of rice paper itself is big and also we must include cost of designing, time spent cresting the page, printing, shipping and even packing. Oh Martha, what are you doing to me? 🫣 I don’t even make Journalpages now. I just did two or so years ago while you where live. But normally I’m just scrapbooking! So what would i buy all your stunning books for? I love them, and added them to my amazon-wishlist, but what will i do with them? 😅😮 The fairies, i imagine, i could use for lots of lovely or even funny gifts for my mother. She loves fairies a lot.
