Here it is, broken down: "Also known by its slogan, "The Great Minnesota Get-Together", it is the largest state fair in the United States by average daily attendance and the second-largest state fair in the United States by total attendance, trailing only the State Fair of Texas, which generally runs twice as long as the Minnesota State Fair."

The state fairgrounds here are also home to one of the largest car shows in the nation. They do an annual back to the 50's car show every summer and it's awesome!

I got 80+ mph winds near Glencoe, MN around 6:30pm central time. Crazy storm; went to go chasing and got stuck in the middle of it when driving eastbound back to the Twin Cities. At times visiting was less than 300ft with strong guests and lots of hydroplaning. Ended with some neat double rainbow and lightning photos with the red skies at sunset (and a few mammatus thrown in)

Unsolicited and useless, but fun fact: Those folks weren't running toward a parking lot. It's a residential neighborhood. Homeowners turn their yards into lots, and end up making at least a few months of mortgage payments within a week and half.
