I love Monterey for whale watching, and Long Beach for grand prix race car watching! I am praying for the families of the victims in the Willowbrook accident. That incident was horrible. I liked seeing the Battleship, it brings back memories from my childhood. My parents friends could not have kids, so they used to take me on trips with them. The first time, they went to visit family in NC. They took me on the battleship there and crossing the bridge to get on it, I saw alligators in the water below. It was a very memorable experience for a kid and a little bit terrifying because that of the gators. Thank you for everything that you do. God bless you, your wife, and your mom!

Jeremy have you ever vacationed in Palm Springs and if so would you recommend it? We have direct flights from Canada that are extremely reasonable but I’m wondering if it’s worth it? Only places we’ve ever visited in California are pretty much Disneyland, Universal and Knotts Berry. We’re such basic and typical international tourists lol.

A visit to Palm Springs is definitely season dependent. Summertime - no (but most affordable time of year). Winter season (specifically January through April) - yes. Lots of activities of (U.S.) national renown scheduled during that period. Least affordable period....lots of fellow Canadian (and other) "snowbirds" escaping their cold climes. Weather is pleasant....really begins to warm starting early April. If you're into the outdoors & desert landscapes, there's a bit to explore & see. Important to perhaps note (should you have certain scruples) - Palm Springs is a LGBTQ haven. If you can afford to do so (i.e., time & money), try to include San Diego in your itinerary. Big city, yes, but quite different from the L.A. area. I recommend to anyone who's experience with California is limited to just the L.A. area or San Francisco.

Nice ride brother! Been a night rider in LA for over 15 years myself. You probably already know this, but if they haven't fixed the issue yet, every LBC Grand Prix, the last night, you can come down here and race the track. I fell into on a blind date the first time in my early 20s and I looked at the little opening in the track, looked at my date and told her she was free to get out, but she was a champ and I've been doing hot laps with buddies almost every year since. They usually take about 2 days before it's all down but the majority of the track is wiiiiiiiidddde open to late night road warriors. Anyways, love cruising with ya every now and then. Fun to see the city through other perspectives

That was indeed a fatal crash. Three people in the car, the driver fled and has not been arrested yet. A 20 year old was severely injured and a 22 year old woman was killed. The car was part of a street takeover according to the news.
