So the very first day I got 2 collapsible batons, 2 knives, and a taser. I didn't want to carry a firearm. I went everywhere from Hollywood blvd to venice beach at all times of the day and night...luckily I never got into confrontations. After awhile, I realized that it wasn't as bad as I thought and it may have been a bit excessive to carry all that. But now? I say carry it all and an RPG because people seem to be losing their 💩 nowadays!

The problem is that these criminals get arrested and of course have a history of criminal backgrounds,but they do not stay in jail. They are just released right away. They don't even spend hours or days in jail. They know they can get away with it since it's considered petty crime and they'll be in and out in no time. If you want to fix the problem- gotta elect better people in office. Also have them actually stay in jail for longer periods of time like couple months not just in and out release. Lastly, I would have bait cars and bait people out there. Undercover workers. You make the gang people go after them.....then they do and you get them. I would make it so they would be pleading for their life and they would never want to steal again.

In your own house, you can probably draw before the encounter, but not when you're out and about. In places like NY or LA, people are often just shot or stabbed from behind, or jumped by a group. Having a pistol isn't going to help much. If by the grace of God you do succeed and shoot the criminal, if he is black you will probably go to prison for the rest of your life in NY or CA unless he is robbing you in your house.
