I wish scrums where more of a fair contest, like they are supposed to be in theory! Scrums are the most iconic part of Rugby it's a shame that they don't live up to the spirit of the principal idea of rugby that the ball is always under Fair contest.
English premiership is much more quality compared to the Top 14. I just watched the final between Montpellier and Castres total difference. This is pure English quality I see why there in the world cup final

There was a day when scrums were over in seconds. Referees have got no business telling packs before they get into a set piece scrum to be 'Higher, higher" and all this "Crouch, Bind and Set". Then they penalise them for going down too quickly. It should have nothing to do with them. Basically they have been allowed to interfere with the flow of the game. What a load of rubbish. Just get on with it for God's sake! And another thing: all this kicking backwards and forwards. Boring!!
